i'm just...going through wilbur's old "challenge" (DEHUMANISING EXPERIMENTS, BEWARE NAIVE PLAYERS) videos and every single one of them has like....a miniature tale about tragedy and freedom, ending with different forms of escape from a controlling, sadistic, trickster god. some of them don't make it through the trials of misfortune they are cursed with, some of them survive their destinies for eternal hell - if even for a moment - but all of these tales are etched into the comments, tales told by bystanders, legends remembered for years (one year, around now) to come. and horrifyingly, there's beauty in it, despite us being disgusting people (/j) for watching these cycles of pain and torture, there are gems of knowledge and treasures of ideals and bursts of emotion to be found in these stories.
