Minecraft: A Brand New Adventure! - 1.18 Survival Let's play | Ep 1

I just love the fact that JWhisp is one of the few Minecraft RU-vidrs that ACTUALLY builds a starter home. I hate when other channels say that and end up building a huge castle or mansion in episode 1. It's just silly and unrealistic. And it's way more fun to start with something small and manageable and work your way up as you go.

Hey JWhisp! The “glitched” house around 11:20 is actually a stable, hence the hay, animals, and open side!

i suggest naming the world something with the new biome, like whispgrove or mountain meadows, along those lines

The house you never saw before was just a type of stable that generates in vanilla villages. It has always been in the cave. It would be cool if you made a castle or something cause you never made a castle before. Also to make a chimney you can surround a campfire in trapdoors and put it on some bricks.

So I believe 1.16 was my first update after I started playing Minecraft 2-3 years ago. This update is by far my favorite because the thing I love most about Minecraft is the beautiful sceneries and being able to build nice things that I would IRL if it were possible. Beautiful world you have! Look forward to all you do.

what I would subscribe to: Someone who is good at building, good at the game and doesn’t have an annoying voice, so far you don’t have an annoying voice and i haven’t figured out the others yet

Make a Wakanda style kingdom. Primitive on the outside but moder/ high tech on the inside. And by that I mean having advanced redstone powered stuff inside ancient looking builds

The "New" Village house has been in Bedrock for ages is is a barn. You left your horse in that village as well. As I said with other creators Leather boots for your base are like a pair of slippers and will help you traverse the snow better.

Oh my gosh, why didn't I just watch the whole video before commenting, so when you said Nordic builds, I instantly want to see a little nordic village next to an abundant kingdom full of extravagance and life, full of very unique builds, I'd like to see that

I came back to minecraft few days ago after many years of absence. Last time I played the game was when sticky pistons were added, so quite a while ago. I play on private multi server with my friend and I learn everything from the scratch. I have a lof of fun but definitely need to know the game better. I will stick to your let's play and hope there is more fun that awaits me. I really enjoyed the first episode.

Tip for DETAILING WINDOWS: Use stairs in stead of full slabs for better framing. The stairs are a good idea but not placed on the outside. Replace the same wall layer with stairs. If you turn them correctly theyll form frames depending

Jwhisp, You need to do a collab with smallishbeans!!! Or with other RU-vidrs. Also, go up to the iron golem build up 3 blocks then hit him for 3-5 free pieces of iron. The "glitched" house is a villager farmhouse. I love the I dea of a medieval theme for this world. other than what I listed I wish you Good luck. (ps pls get a cat called Mr. Snuggles or Lando Catrissian.)

I've been so hyped for this update to come out for a while now! So glad that it's out for us to play, and for awesome creators like you to make more great content out of it.

Not gonna lie, I stopped watching after you stopped the 1.17 series, but I was really entertained by this one, so I resubsribed! I hope this one lasts a good while. Maybe try making bigger and better automatic farms with your builds instead of the micro ones👍

I like to place sweet berries under my windows because they make a great food source, add a pop of color, and kill any mobs that see you through the windows and approach the house to try to get to you. Kind of like an accidental mob farm.

Definitely get an iron farm early game cause it is very easy to run out trust me I've learned that the hard way XD (also you can name the world mountmainia

It just popped in my mind when you said to name your world, so here: "The Wisteria World" If you're uncertain on a certain aesthetic to do other than medieval, steampunk, and cottagecore, maybe I recommend a bit of fantasy or like in those lines. I would love to see more unique kind of build that use blocks like terrocota, glazed terrocota, purpur blocks, and other blocks that are not as much used. If you're thinking of a kingdom, I think "Kingdom of Abundance" where in that kind of scenario, make the kingdom really rich and abundant in wildlife, nutrition, and unique looks. I would love to see more aesthetics for Minecraft worlds, I hope you get an idea on my comment

i love the way there are so many villages in 1.18 the amount of times ive started a world and there was 3 villages less than 300 blocks from eachother

If you're looking to challenge yourself build-wise this series, I'd love to see you do different build styles and interiors as well! Also to add depth to buildings, it may help to pop out the corner logs by one block while keeping the wall planks one block in. and ofc all the other detailing you do helps as well. Really looking forward to seeing how you push yourself and everything else to come in the rest of the series
