Kinda funny that theres both "Emeralds are Rubys" and "Pots broken by sword drop emeralds" as in Zelda Games, Pots can often be broken and drop Rupees, which actually look like emeralds

Fun fact: the interaction reminder overlay at 0:30 is (at least partially) transparent. You can see it best on the subscribe button once it turns gray, revealing the “Connection reset” text behind it. idk if that was intentional but i thought it was neat and wanted to share.

16:45 Pretty sure that "Test rule please ignore" is reference to The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe that has achievement called "Test achievement please ignore" 22:32 And this is reference to The Legend of Zelda series, because you can break pots with your sword to get Rupees (green emerald looking currency) in the game 24:58 And this is pretty direct reference to The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind where you can use exploit to increase your agility level so much you can zip the whole map in one jump

That first one also reminded me of the Stanley Parable. It's hard to tell if it's a direct reference or not, but the "please ignore" at the end makes it very likely. The second and last, though, are a pretty obvious references. Good on you for finding all of those!

The Morrowind one is a reference to a couple of items in Morrowind. The Boots of Blinding speed and Scroll of icarian flight, which both give you absurd speed and stupidly high jump. The Bed Banners was based off of a suggestion someone requested to put banners on beds.

90% of this should just be 1.20 this is almost everything the community has ever wanted mine and place blocks more piston push moveable tile entities big and small commands and potions grappling rods glowing squids footprints diets (could be a good challenge) fix qc as a command entity collision a million other commands that control everything half of them aren't even bad or unbalanced, just more opportunity for custom challenges and stuff

mojang puts more work into april fools than actual updates. I guess they spend most of the year on experimental features, bundle it into april fools so people test it, and then work a few weeks on the actual updates

Once again, they made a huge april fools update with some awesome ideas just to delete it all after a few days. These are the same devs that make us choose between 3 mobs to implement for their next update instead of adding them all.

I really enjoyed the infinite worlds snapshot concept, but unfortunately it was basically unplayable if you accidentally generated a world with too many updates (I once had a world generate that had an ocean with a flower pot bed - that was a recipe for instant game crash). At least this snapshot doesn't crash my game unless I do something stupid, making it the more enjoyable of the two to actually play.
