You may be able to add nether trees to the botany pot area. that may help you maintain more resources as needed.

@@sjin I think you can haunt normal mushrooms into the nether variety, and use Mekanism to turn Netherrack into the required soils.

Skylines 2 would be great to see. Also you should get some drawers for your botany pots 2 of the 2x2 drawers for the farm area will give you tons more storage and be less clutered. For your Iron farm the 1x2 same for most of the tree farms as well.

As a reminder, when you have an Apiary you need to use the "Hive Tool" to select a bee hive in order for the beekeeper to harvest honey or honeycomb from it. you also need to make sure that the beehive/beehives that you've selected have bees inside of it because the beekeeper relies on the bees to generate honey/honeycomb which means it's a good idea to go out and wrangle a few bees in order to house them in the Apiary given that the beekeeper doesn't do that.

I need to thank you, Sjin. I haven't played really any modded Minecraft since Resonant Rise 2, I've mostly just been on vanilla Bedrock edition, but watching your videos recently got me into ATM 9, and I've been having a blast with it! I've got a tip and a recommendation for you: Tip - I know it's not massively necessary, especially given the NPC farmers handling their one crop fields, but Minecraft actually takes a page from real farming and crops will actually grow faster if you grow crops in alternating rows, like have one single wide row as wheat, the next as carrots, then back to wheat, for example, will grow faster than if you had two rows of wheat. It may be good to have a personal field that you can use to vary your diet for more hearts. Recommendation - There's a game that MineColonies actually reminds me of called 'Foundation,' I don't know whether you'd want to make videos on it or not (though I would certainly watch, since you can get very artsy with your village/town, and are encouraged to to upgrade) but the game is certainly right up your alley.

To Slow the need to go to the nether, Add the nether trees & Nether wart to your Botany pots, and start on doing the productive bees mod in the mod pack. Also add to the other comments, next Mine colonies run do underwater / Caverns Build series? And play Skylines 2 please

Get the guard towers to level 2 as well... They are very important and I suggest u build about 20 more guard towers... scatter them at the corners of the colony as it expands... Build 2 more courier huts and get them to Level 2 as well since the warehouse is level 2 now... Also configure fuel for the restaurant, smeltery as well... Botany Pots (Cornflower instead of poppies --> Iron Farm) U can turn the Guard tower hiring to automatic so that if a guard dies then the next person will be recruited automatically... Put fishing rods in the warehouse or build a stash so that the couriers can take fishing rods and other materials from the player and put it directly in the warehouse... The apiarist needs different flowers so that the bees can pollinate on them as well as bees themselves... So u would have to bring some bees urself. The Bee keeper has the ability to breed bees which u can select in the GUI to do so using any flowers but I suggest u use only poppies since u have 2 poppy farms (😥😠)... Tavern Level 3 requires stuff from The End since it does not get higher than that...

I have a question. When you hire people for jobs, like the smelter, why are you not setting up his recipes and then going to the blacksmith to set up the tools side? Are you doing that of camera after you are done recording?

Can't you just change the gaurds tower to automatic hiring? Since they are dying anyways, and besides later on they will automatically get drafted from the academy. Getting the right people to right "civilian" jobs is much more important.
