I think thats because minecraft randomizes the pitch of each animal sound with a small range, maybe the corruption changed that range from like (-2, 2) to (-92938, 2) because randomly the mobs just dont make a sound, which to me implies that the pitch got so low java can't play it
2:31 I actually remember seeing something like this randomly appearing in my Minecraft Pocket Edition world somewhere in 0.14.x and I was legit disturbed to touch the screen at these moments so I was just shutting my phone down.
@@alex342gwsturk8 for me it was stretching all the way to the sky. Sometimes it appeared as a giant wall with randomly coloured segments sometimes it was a giant wall. I remember once trying to interact with this thing and it was indeed a mob (it was becoming red when punched)
@@v-14415 omg, I know that hes using processstub, I did that and the farthest I got was that the sounds were lower pitched but thats it. I need to know what settings to use in processstub as nobody has made a in depth tutorial.
This could easily be a creepy pasta back in the day, love it. I miss being scared of herobrine, and I'd love having an opportunity to have this there with him as well.
the first half was if like half the code went missing & a programmer tried their best to salvage what was left of it & fix it. the second half was a horror arg
this might be a strange compliment, but i really like the natural commentary and style of this video. i thought it was going to be derivative of popular glitch/corruption content, but there's a unique character shining through the remarks and editing style, it's simple and short but very effective, and has good sensibilities. it comes off very raw and natural but without being boring or needing to rely on acting funny or meta or referential. it feels like watching a friend mess around, and it speaks for itself. idk it sounds like im digging into it too much but i'm just surprised how much of a breath of fresh air this feels like. u just made a really nice video!
4:26 I feel so stupid that I never noticed that the Minecraft menu selection sound effect is just the lever/pressure plate activation sound in a higher pitch.
Despite me having watched countless videos of people corrupting old consoles and games like the PS1, GameCube, SM64, and so on. I never once thought about someone corrupting old Minecraft. Please do more. This was so goofy to watch and I know that it can get goofier.
