You already showed off the goo mutant in the ultramorph video, but it just has animations now. In that video it just slid across the ground Also the normal predator got a retexture too
The new features they've added I like, hopefully they add a function later on for dye coloured xenos similar to the sheep dye feature, that way it'd be easier to tell what xenos are ones you've made or not, but none the less a really fun (although somewhat difficult) mod to play with.

I imagine having entity culling off on servers and for roleplay purposes would be pretty nice because being able to see enemies through a wall seems pretty lame. But it's nice to have them marked when you're facing them.

We try to stay canon (Alien movies, Prometheus movies, all game from 2010 to now, and the Fire and Stone series), but we include the Giger art (such as the Aethon) since he's the reason the xenomorph is such a unique design, and the Prometheus concept art as well (Ultramorph and belugamorph). The only original xenos will be ones based off the vanilla animals
i see why they call them the belugamorph... i usually don't like minecraft videos because of all the cringeworthy youtubers and children but i think i will make a exception for your channel because its like the yogscasts old mod spotlight videos. this mod is amazing. don't change the way you make videos because they are so nostalgic.
What are the aquatic xeno ability? I don't think it has any unique abilities yet. Also the goo does mutate xenos, well combines them with other creatures in Fire and Stone at least. If anything, only the goo-based creatures like the hammerpedes and humanoid goo mutants could touch it.
You should make a Xeno praetorian autospawner next to a grinder and have xp and royal jelly flow into the AE system. You'd have infinite royal jelly and xp.
the jelly isn't a guaranteed drop like most other mobs, its based on how "old" the mob is. So a really old facehugger will drop more jelly than a just-spawned-in praetorian
how to i get to the other dimensions? ive looked threw dozens of vids and thats never been answered. i also think you should add in some of the stuff from the books and comics. like the acid splash suit from Genocide, the powerloader from 2 which could have both arms work with the respective clicks of the mouse, a few buildings that are like the instant buildings mod like a main hive and chambers (separate) or a uscm ship or base. (knowing these are big things maybe a side mod with them) putting diff animals in for the various comic and toy ones would be nice too. but i know you all can only do so much but i would love to see these kinds of things.
I would like to step in, doesn't a royal facehugger evolve into a praetorian first then molt in it's small den to a queen? And when will they add the old queen model thing that is totally called something else that IDK the name of?
It won't be added since in the script its defenseless and just makes resin, plus the impregnation thing would make no sense based on the script anyways.
Unheard Hydra61 it doesnt create Preatorians it creates a Chestburster that is bigger but take more time to evolve, but when it does it skips the whole Alien Evolution-Cycle and turns directly into a Queen plus the Royal Facehugger has a Queen embryo and a Normal Embryo which will protect the Queen until it grow up into a Giant Egg - Laying Queen hope you liked my explanation :)
Im guessing this update is only for 1.10 ............. all the big mods have updated...... but most mods still dont go past 1.7 :( So you gotta choose between fewer more awesome mods, or alot of less awesome mods.
is there concept art for a queen for the deacon and beluga-morph? if not, ri and cyber would yall design and implement a model for 1 in minecraft? not to mentions eggs for the octo-facehugger and trilobite.
No queens in Prometheus or its sequels since Ridley doesn't really like it, if anything the deacon's and belugamorphs's early stages will be generated by some sort of goo-mutated entity. If anything, the deacons could possibly generate a baby trilobite if its has a "goo level" or something, but the first trilobite will be generated by breeding a goo infected animal before it mutates
odd for the belugamorph cuz i thought it was basically the "natural form" of the xenomorph? (if anything the hard shell egg used as the logo for the first alien movie could be what the octo-hugger hatches from).
Yeah, in that script it was described as like boneless, unarmoured, xenomorph. It lacked a tail and inner jaw, but in turn could squeeze through pipes and narrow passages to get to prey Though Covenant looks like it will show us the true original xenomorph, called the protomorph
