You know, I made a video on this exact topic a long time ago and there was one issue I wasn't able to figure out how to fix, was wondering if you could in your video. Never knew how to make the wither take more or less damage by hitting it with a sword rather than your fist, or if they could take more damage if the player had strength before they punched them. Also potion effects don't make the boss take damage either because potions don't damage the armor being replaced. Any ideas on how these things could be fixed? It was one of the things I wished I knew how to do when I made my video on giving a mob a bossbar.
you could make it take more damage depending on weapon by giving it slightly repaired armor instead of 1 hit from breaking that way the sword technically causes it to lose health faster than your fist, but the issue of it not displaying smaller amounts of damage still isn't resolved in that case, but it still works functionally. Bedrock is really lacking in commands, half of which aren't even complicated to add. Mojang is really slacking on bedrock command functionality...
I know this is pretty simple commands but I’m still trying to figure out how to do a boss bar with entities that cannot have armor, for example the ravager
@@KDragon_510 sad but how do I prevent other armor types spawning with the entity, for example, for this system to work i need a diamond helmet but the entity spawns with a gold helmet?
@@KDragon_510 oh, I just wanted to try your design bc why not and that helmet swap happened a lot but I fixed it with a clear command and adding a delay
Really? If the wither you have is spawned in a box check if the box is small because they might be suffocating or maybe it's damaging itself when he shoots his skulls out. The skulls have a small explosion radius on impact so maybe that's why.
Idk what I'm doing wrong as I put the commands in exactly as shown here but for some reason it's not working and when I hit the skeleton it doesn't damage the wither
Love how he closes the command blocks out a nanosecond after finishing typing the command so I have to repeatedly go back and try and pause on the correct frame
@@Flare-golem99932 a fist will do the same amount of durrability point as a sword Even if you have strength 255 the damage dealt to armor would still be 1
For the chest it's "/replaceitem entity @e[type=zombie] slot.armor.chest iron_chestplate 0 1". If it were to be the legs it would be "slot.armor.legs". Same goes for the feet "slot.armor.feet"
