Agreed, jacksepticeye and markiplier are overrated. Long unedited videos of nothing but pure minecraft gameplay and narration unfortunately doesnt get as much attention. Im also glad that gameplays of the better version of minecraft is making a comeback. New minecraft sucks.
@LeoTheI I have played minecraft for a long time, but I will say, new minecraft IS better than og minecraft, obviously, it doesn't hold up the same because of nostalgia, but if we were to have like, new minecraft with old styled minecraft playthroughs and stuff, i think it would be best.
@@gaminganimators7000 yeeeaahhhh no. Been playing this game for 14 years now and the old versions are still better, and genuinely not because of "nostalgia". I prefer Alpha, it's simple, has a calming atmosphere, even if a little creepy and lonely, I still enjoy it much better thaan the bloated bullshit that modern MC is.
you shouldnt skip over the boring parts, i love those quiet moments when the person im watching is just doing their thing and not exactly trying to entertain us
what i dislike the most about the latest minecraft survivals is during the first 10 minutes he already found diamonds and has a netherite set. Why can't anyone take it slow?
@@Spineblorg I think a lot of people play minecraft like a grinding game now, where you just progress as fast as possible because that's how the game itself is structured. it's still a sandbox like the old versions, but with all the stuff they've added, it makes it feel less so. RU-vid could also have a factor in it, because the relationship between yt and mc is pretty strong, and the videos that perform the best are the fast paced crap, and that could translate into how a large chunk of mc players play the game, just speculation but that's a theory
you're not the first to suggest this and many people have been complaining about the new updates making minecraft play VERY differently than it did.@@zo9ner
For your first lets play video you're very chill and eloquent, I hope your channel grows a lot! I'm also playing b1.7.3 again for some time, I also like to play with smooth lighting off for some nostalgic visuals.
Holy crap, Beta 1.7.3 just boils now, I knew how solid and beloved this beta version was, but not to the point where people literally jumped way the hell back to it with a bang, this is next level reinforcement of the game's soul right there.
brother, u have nothing to be worried about. people love chill, talkative people, and there is a big community for this type of content. you are perfect as you are and i enjoyed the video lots :)
Hey check my channel out if you like beta minecraft. new channel, i upload every other week consistently. Just dont watch the start of video 41. other than that, its pretty calm.
Yes but then, having your entire inventory stacked with 1 per slot is still a bit dumb, the player has as many as they have, no matter if they stack or not.
you really reminds me of 2013 minecraft youtuber with their very first minecraft survival series ever. The old minecraft hits me so hard, keep going man I'll watch your video and I love watching people chilling lol
I've been looking for a long old minecraft let's play series for a while now. I'm glad i found you, it's hard to find them these days! I'm going to binge your videos. Keep up the good work man🤝
i cant express how much i liked the first minutes. I will defenitely watch the other videos even though they arent that many but its a nostalgia that i could felt in this video that couldnt felt in the others. Thanks for the video/small series!
I am absolutely baffled by the cuts in this video lmfao first you find nearly a block’s worth of diamonds, cut again to hours of strip mining, then cut _again_ to a questionably built medieval house and say “uuh idk what happened” as if it procedurally generated out of thin air I swear I thought those Minecraft cut memes were an exaggeration this gets to take a like from me
talking about a items in beta compared to 1.20, the limitation of items in 1.7.3 need too more ideias to build and is this a good point of beta =) Your channel is so good, great job! ;-)
This makes me so nostalic of the first let's plays I watched. I never myself played on beta as I started with 1.1, but a lot of youtubers back then made their first let's play on these older versions. In France there were Fanta, bob lennon, kigyar69 who made a beautiful city, later Aypierre Edit: I used to play like an engineer, meaning, gathering lots of resources and implementing farms for everything. I cannot do this anymore as it is too time-consuming, and, surprisingly, intellectually exhausting to keep up. I kind of durably lost interest in Minecraft during the last year, but I think giving the beta a try could help me enjoy this game again, playing more "chill" than intensive farming, having a low-tech world where I focus on building simple things, not big crazy farms
Been loving beta again recently, got onto a server woth a bunch of people and building a giant pyramid with my bros, the old versions of minecraft like the beta are really awesome and with the more limited block pallette it just feels good and everything kind of just works
you know what, i get really nostalgic for these old versions even if i never played them perssonally.. but seeing this in my recomended makes me want to try it myself.. so.. thank you alot
1.7.3 is what I grew up with, I was playing the beta version the entire time I was a preteen 11-12 then the game got released 😁 console (legacy edition) was perfect imo. Not too much to overwhelm but not too little either.
Nice video! I like your videos, because they aren't edited crazily like those 60K channels. It's a usual gameplay video of a cool old game. Keep it up! ))
6:52 "Signs can't be stacked either, and for a while they became stacks of 16!" "Which, what the hell? Stack(s of) 16 (for) signs? That feels illegal." ... signs are still stacked to 16
This is what youtube should be nowdays like in 2011-2013, me having premium is like living that period of not getting ads. The buzz of the pc adds to the ambience of 2012. Edit: And most importantly raw video not edited almost at all!
You're a cool guy, it's good that there are still RU-vidrs who remember the best version of Minecraft. Good luck and I hope you record some other games too P. S. Sorry for my English
Just found your channel and your voice is very calming! Much like you, I'm a later Minecraft player (didn't start playing until release 1.12.2) and beta 1.7.3 is such a different experience.
Warning: Ramblings ahead A good reason that food doesn't stack in this version is for balancing the game. If you had a stack of food for example, you could survive just about anything because 3 cooked porkchops in beta heal you fully and instantaneously which would make the game completely unbalanced if you could stack them. Whereas with unstackable food, there's a fine balance between how much food and how much space in your inventory you are willing to use up for health. With modern Minecraft hunger you need to eat always, which is why they decided to allow food to be stacked in newer versions. Here's a good way to think about it: food in beta is basically instant health potions. Imagine how overpowered it would be if you had a 64 stack of instant healing.... yeah. And as we all know, potions are unstackable (as of now) Food = Health
Just a tip: for a cleaner audio in the recording try using a program like voice meter (I use voice meter banana bc it's a slimmed down version and I'm not a content creator) to run your microphone through and you can set a noise gate so the mic wont pick up on the background buzzing and tapping of keys!
I'm currently building a simple 1.7.3b survival PvP server with minimal plugins. Will have a woodland spawn village and maybe a build area for pixel art then you go into the wilderness and survive. Will include protection plugins for people.
I forgot how motion sensitive I was. I can't watch Minecraft video where people are just moving the mouse around. It gets me dizzy. I was able to get 30 minutes in, but just listening and glancing over.
I remember when Minecraft Beta 1.7 first came out -- thinking that there would be a full release sometime around 2012-2013, but it ended up being the same year. I kinda like the new Minecraft, but I prefer the old Minecraft because 13-year-old SkyDoesMinecraft fans weren't taking over the Minecraft servers consistently yappin' about butter while trying to be the next big RU-vidr with no success whatsoever.
who needs modern minecraft anyway all it does is distract you from building every 5 seconds i like old minecraft because of the simple gameplay behind it and not overwhelm you with alot of stuff
