Apologies for the video length; I'm just experimenting with video creation and what I should include in episodes. I am, however, satisfied with how well it turned out and I think my builds are pretty good. Hope you enjoy the video!
just found this channel and series, and man, its got such a nice and cozy feel to it. just feels like i'm over at a friends house late one summer night and he's showing me his minecraft world
13:16 A windmill doesn't have a front, that is, if you choose to designate the side of the structure on which the sails are, the 'front', since the top of most windmills, particularly Dutch ones, could rotate on their base to position the blades against the wind. So that would technically mean that the door, being the only unique, unchanging part of the immovable base of the building, would be considered the front.
this remind me of a time were actual survival servers existed. no pvp faction bs or minigames, just straight up minecraft you could get a role (builder, miner, ressources gatherer, redstone enginner etc) and day after day you could see the server become an incredible city. people would trade resources to get shit done (generally a shit ton of diamonds haha)
Really enjoying the series so far, both the windmill and the blacksmith looks great, and I liked seeing your thought process when you were building the blacksmith
I came to get some early build inspiration, but I also really appreciate the Dutch insight on windmill mechanics :D I'm currently playing in infdev in my polyworld, and I've been running out of build ideas, but I thought a mill would be cool since farming wheat is one of the few things that I can do in these versions.
