They probably are otherworldly ice formations, it's just that snow covered trees are the closest thing in real life... yk kinda like how there are no giant mushrooms in the real world so those weird trees on that island were used.
That is actually an Aspen forrest i believe. As birch does not grow in a Forrest and also grows randomly and sporadically. You will rarely ever see 2 birch trees side by side in real life. Great concept and awesome short, though.
Not to be that guy but there is something called “penitente” which is basically a snow formation that occurs at high altitude and forms thin blades of hardened snow and It kinda looks like the ice spikes biome but smaller.
The photo shown for “dark forest” is a temperate rainforest, not a true dark forest. A dark forest wouldn’t have that much moss, would have deciduous trees with dark bark, and would be very crowded to prevent light from reaching the ground
Needless to say that i just loved the Dark Forest, both from real life and from Minecraft. My dream is to live in a dark forest, not only in Minecraft but in real life too, they're so unique❤️❤️
South Dakota has a lot of them in real life and some change depending on the season such as plains. Now they're snowy. Some areas are flower, some are sunflower, and some normal in summer. We also have badlands, forests, flower florests, birch forests, pine forests, mountains, snowy mountains in winter, stony mountains, and sandy beaches on the lake, and dripstone caves. It's a great variety and lots of fun, especially out in the Black Hills.
