Minecraft: Building a Grand Fantasy Boat 

Maybe certain parts of this build resemble mine & graysun’s, but if anything, I would say it’s inspired by it, not a direct copy. That’s not a big deal to me at all. To those who commented & aren’t happy with this: I’m sure your hearts are in the right place, but no one owns an idea as broad as a house on a boat with a telescope. No need to push it any more :)

For people that are seeing this as a copy - I have never heard of Grayson or Shovel before. I am not aware of their RU-vid channels or who they are unfortunately. My inspiration has come from 2 images on devianart and an instagram post I skimmed over the other day I have found the original post and have linked it in the description for you to check out if you're interested. I apologize for the mistake or if some people may have been taken the wrong way by this video. Please remember that I have only been doing this for 3 months and still have a lot to learn when it comes to Minecraft RU-vid.

I'm really liking these odd looking builds lol, interesting to look at. Your base has such a variety of builds and styles, it reminds me of Hermitcraft spawns when there's a cool mismatch of builds. Keep it up!

I must say that this steampunk theme suits you pretty well! This combination of whimsy, detail, and art is a style that is unique to you. I have seen other RU-vidrs do builds on a similar level to this, but none of them are quite like you. I personally love everything that you have done so far. Even (and almost especially) the wind temple (and other future temples). I think that if you continue in this direction, you’ll go so far!

Yes It looks like shovels build, but he already said he took inspiration from a post. It is not an exact copy of the og build. Lay off guys

That beach could do with some decorating, some palm trees, turtle eggs, lobster traps, docks, palm trees, tiki bars, treasure cove and nautilus shells would be really really great

That boat looks epic. I always liked boats in real life. But I can never figured out. How to build them in Minecraft. Nice job on the boat. Love your videos. They’re always something nice to watch and chill to listen to.

Put your librarians there, they can be scholars sailing the world reading the stars. Their work stations are already there as railings

The boat could be an area for fishing or like a sea pickle farm or something like that

Wow. Honestly, this boat is way better than anything I could accomplish rn-and way better than anything I might’ve been expecting when I asked for boats in that comment. This video actually came at a really good time for me because I’m in the process of building a boat in my survival world, so I’ll definitely take some inspiration from that. Do you have any tips overall to building? And what is it that makes survival so much more captivating for you than creative, where you obviously have a much wider range of blocks?

another beautiful build mate! for those muppets saying its a copy, i let my friends take inspiration from my builds all the time. it allows my friends to get creative and interpret my builds differently, shows a whole new perspective with different styles, colours and/or shapes that they choose to switch up. in fact, my friend is going to build his own rendition of my most recent church build on an upcoming SystemZee video. moon simply took inspiration. he likes the shape, the theme, so what? if theres one thing you notice from his channel, its that he is incredibly passionate about the game. this means that he obviously wouldnt want to just 'copy' somones build, as it simply wouldnt be from him - he would have no connection to it, and no reason to be proud of it, which is exactly why he didnt copy the build. its just a simple mistake you made, and although i can see why, just quit your yapping and go do something productive.

Are the temple projects abandoned or just on hold? I’m really interested in seeing where you take it. I think a good solution would be to mix in progress updates with your regular videos. Maybe once a week or so.

I liked the length of this video, I like longer ones but when it’s forty minutes for a single build it’s just a touch slow for my taste. This was a good place to land for more frequent uploads and smaller builds. Also, try not to let people get to you too much about accidentally reinterpreting shovels build. It happens just try to learn from it.

How do you make the shapes of your builds so interesting? I’d say i am a pretty good builder but I can never find creative shapes to work with.

i appreciate your response to people saying that you copied shovel & graysun, but it would be great if whenever you referenced minecraft builds in the future you mention it in the video as well as put the reference in the description! the build itself is definitely not directly copied, so i don't know why so many people are getting this heated about it. i hope this doesn't cause demotivation for you, i still think it's a really awesome build, and i hope other people can see that you put a lot of your own effort in it too!

What recording software do you use?

Wow isnt great when people try to "set the record straight" when it comes to small creators but are crickets when its the larger creators. I dig ure world. I would put a bit more elevation changes in the city if it was me. But im just being nitpicky. And its something that I have been focusing on with city or villave builds so maybe im just biased.

It's quite obviously inspired by other creators.. A simple mention of them would have been enough
