Why do you use a axe to fight and not a sword, even though axes do a lot of damage they take more durability and have a twice worse cooldown and not even twice the damage of a diamond sword

Completely agree. I was just using an axe to save space. I didn't want to settle down just yet so I had limited inventory space and I was able to use the axe as a tool and a weapon
