@@SEMREDEL its not because swords do mor dps (damage per second) because they swing faster than axes have more range than an axe (sword having a 3 block reach and axe having 2.5) and also you can combo a critical hit into a sweep hit with a sword to do the most damage possible pretty much axes are only good in pvp for disabling shields
