negative enchants dont really matter in hardcore because curse of vanishing just means you will loose the item if u die with it but hardcore u only get 1 life so that negative effect does not matter.

Trident is good if there is Loyalty, channeling, and impaling enchants on it, so I recommend sword because when a fire aspect, knockback, sharpness and looting enchant was there, the sword was too good. Edit: You can use the trident to fly when it has riptide enchant on it. Some players recommend Trident because it can use for range attach when there's a loyalty enchant on it. A Loyalty enchant is a enchant that can be added to a trident, the trident will automatically return after you throw it.

Frost walker = walk on water the water will turn in to ice and it’s pretty good for going to places across water and in the morning the ice will melt. Also you won’t take damage from fire.
