Bit of a shame but the series did lose it's way a little bit with no goals and stuff. More to the point, what are Hat Films gonna do with that shipment of 2000 golden Hand of Truth t-shirts?
Mr. Resetti True, but it's like watching a lover resort to soliciting themselves to people on the street. The feeling of betrayal and disgust still remains.
It wasn't as successful and people just didn't watch other people's perspectives. It was Sjin's idea and it didn't work, I mean this lot complained so much about the shitty server and MODS.
MrCool Mug Yeah, I felt the series really started to fall to shit when people stopped listening to the mayor and, as stupid as it sounds, doing what they were told. It would have been pretty cool to see each mayor try to finish a project or whatever each week and actually have everyone operate on it, but that fell to bits. Sure it's funny to see someone deviate from the plan, but when literally everyone is doing nothing and just sort of building their own stuff, the whole point of a series with a bunch of people working together kinda fails. Hell, by the time the Hats stopped even showing the mayor part at the start, mayor's orders had changed from "you do this, you do this, we do this" to "we are gonna build something, you guys do whatever." Still, sad it's gone, it was fun.
Rimmy - Downunder Gaming I reckon there were innumerable reasons for the breakdown. But it's like An Inspector Calls, they're all responsible for the death, in their own individual ways. It's a shame that they refuse to commit to things. Sjin compared this to Tekkit, but thats absolute nonsense, Tekkit worked perfectly. I would say the new Flux Buddies server is more like Tekkit, and guess what, it works fine, I can go and see everyones creations and plans and so on. It's also a shame that they can't work together as a team, and that they are all too busy fussing about minor series's on minor games that only a few people really want to see. This is why Blackrock hasn't restarted, the people who were involved don't have the time or the heart to do it.

I love that when Trott asks what Smiffy is doing because he's silent and it cuts to his came and you just hear fire in the back ground. It was perfect.
Not too surprised Cornerstone is ending after the previous episode. I wonder if the next series will signify the return of Simon to the main channel, provided they all play on the same server again.
I'm going to be honest and give my impression of cornerstone: It was good until after the hand was almost blown up and then dropped badly when people didn't work to make awesome stuff which was the whole goal. Still enjoyable to listen to whilst doing something else though.
I know I'm in the minority, but glad to see this ending. It overstayed its welcome about a month ago at least. I love the minecraft content, but sadly this fell flat after about 6-7 episodes in when it went from interesting group format to random b.s.
TheMatsuoo This comes naturally as they can not keep peace and work together for shit! Fun series though great potential but it kind of fizzed out when they became bored with it. I mean where the heck is the next mayor ? Even in creative most of them want to wreck things. MAY THE HAND GUIDE THEM ALL!!!
TheMatsuoo I think I preferred it when everyone was doing the secret bases and making alliances and stuff. When they changed the mod pack, texture pack and decided to 'work together', well...
TheMatsuoo Once they lost the mayor system, people started making bases and not working together I lost interest. Don't get me wrong I like when they compete but that's all they were doing. Especially considering how interesting the initial concept was.
Funny Ross said that about watching other people's perspectives. Cause that's exactly what I was doing :) i got behind when I started to try to watch other's perspectives. Hatflims is ALWAYS BETTER
I get that the format kinda fell off and everything but I really enjoyed this series as it's the next best thing to Hat Chat that we can get weekly, damn shame its ending -_- LONG LIVE THE HAND!
Are there any modded adventure maps? Because I'd like to see you guys do something like that someday. Or just an original adventure map. It's been a while since you last did one. But whatever it is you do, I'm going to watch it!
I'm pretty sad because hat pack has gone (I'm a new Zealander so I miss all of them) and now corner stone is gone. I'm a long Time viewer sub to u guys around 3k subs and I've always found you guys make the funniest mine craft series sad to see no more minecraft on yt :(
i'll be honest I got bored of corner stone after week 3-4 when all the back stabbing started again, for sure it's all meant for comedic purposes but after seeing it in the flux war and many more minecraft series' in the past it gets rather stagnant. I will have a look at what they do next those with my hopes high

I hope they don't go the livestream route with mostly livestreams & not many videos as being in Australia it's not easy getting to watch them. So many channels are doing this, less work & more donations. I understand it but hope these guys stay with their talent of great video making.
Shame about the end of the series. I hope the Yogs make another big collab series again soon. Even though this series didn't really stick to anything I still enjoyed the multiple perspectives, especially when it looked like there was going to be another Hat Films/Flux Buddies war. I suppose this is what happens when they don't script series too heavily. A little bit of planning and focus (like in Hat Corp series) would have been good for this one. Anyway, really enjoyed Cornerstone, sad to see it end

Tanyon Oldham To clarify, I just find it funny that the hats spend the majority of their time building more stuff for the hand of truth, or exploring the non explosive aspects of some of the mods, while people like duncan, rythian and sjin, known builders in the minecraft community, spent the time demolishing what they spent hours to create in survival..
