Minecraft Creeper Farm 1.20.2 - BEST DESIGN 

This is the best creeper farm i've made for a long time. Take note of exactly where to build it and you wont be unhappy. Just prepare and grind out the wood for the trapdoors! Thanks very much

if you break the top two glass blocks and place slabs on the top blocks instead, it could be an afk farm or if you have looting 3 you could one shot the creepers and get a ton more gun powder depending on what you feel like doing

Build worked. Took the whole day plaus all my stone and slate supplies and a panicked ending when I tried to remove torches and leave in survival but works like a charm. Thanks (subbed)

I already had a general mob farm that had this design, so I just added trap doors and slabs to make it to where only creepers spawned. I guess I should've known that I could make a creeper farm that way, too, it just never occurred to me. The first and only other creeper farm I built had eight or so layers of 4 2x2 spawning platforms and the rates were pretty terrible. Creepers are already spawning while my old farm only produced two creepers every thirty minutes

I’m only getting spiders idky and I’m on bedrock is that why?

spiders spiders This farm is awesome. works on bedrock!!! But i also get alot of spiders. nothing can be done about them. In bedrock slabs have no effect in stopping spiders. It is a problem in all creeper farms not just this one. Buttons used to work but the code change in 1.17 made buttons useless. I dont know of anything that keeps spiders from spawning. At least the spiders fall as well and produce string. I use string to make wool blocks that i use in the deep dark. lots of them! I also use string to make beds that I use to mine for nethorite.

It works but spiders are Spannung in my farm but i build it like in the Video that dermaßen my creeper spawn rate what can i do?

If we have a cats in each corner, will this improve the farm ?

I may have done something wrong, took me 3 hours in survival to make, of course it took me 2 hours to get all the material and decorating 😂, but I’m still getting spiders and zombies inside. All the roofs have a trap door on them, slabs are placed as instructed on the video, idk what I did wrong, but it definitely works! I’m sure I’ll find what I did wrong in the morning 😂😂

You can use carpets instead of half slabs to prevent spiders from spawning. I feel like half slabs would ever so slightly disrupt the creeper pathfinding but maybe that's just me.

As of 1.19.2 Java Minecraft this farm is working hella fine.Love the simple design and the drop rate.Soul Fire is the way to go btw. (campire is fine too) For me and my wife playing singleplayer this work perfectly.Ty so much

Awesome farm! I've been using my rockets sparingly since the update, not wanting to build yet another tedious creeper farm. Was so simple to build and the rates are certainly up there! Thanks for the tutorial and I will certainly be checking out more from you.

I just built this, Its working 100% so far, testing its production now. Useful Tip: when placing the trap doors above you inside, use a trap door; open it on yourself it pushes you down and you can look around and place all the rest of the trap doors. Hope that makes sense.

Working in 1.19.3, built it over ocean but instead of Y level 140 i went 200 because of the max y level update a while back. Working good. Cheers for the video.

I just build this again and it worked great 👍 this works on java 1.19 guys in 15 mns of AFK i just got like 6 stacks of gunpowder. Btw if you want to xp farm this just replace the campfire with carpet and place iron bars on each side of the hoppers. I also recommend using a sword with looting 3 to get more gunpowders.

I was having bad luck with tutorials on creeper farms, so I decided to test this one in creative first. It works very well now in my hardcore world and the instructions are clear!

Works but NOT 1800/H ! For a small world its fine. Just dont expect 1800/H lol

soul campfires, carpets instead of slabs, cats in the corners of the squares, and one more layer turn this into a stellar late game farm!

my review. i built this on bedrock 1.19 server multiplayer. it works really good. there is a few things the video did not say that is causing alot of people problems. 1. in bedrock DO NOT use slabs on top of structure. slabs let light through on bedrock. You need to place full blocks then use the slabs on the very top to stop spawning on roof. 2. after turning out the torches dont expect to see any creepers spawning. you HAVE to move away to a waiting area. Min 25 blocks. the video says to build up 20 blocks from the campfire. I built a deck 2 blocks under the chests. a room with a bed. the chests are seen in the ceiling and you can open them from below. the effect is i afk over 25 blocks away. this is normal for alot of farms. moving away will increase your spawns. It is important to move away. no creepers spawned while i was watching. now i get one drop ever f seconds. 3. to find everything you need go to a woodland mansion or take apart a village. the mansion is awsome for raw materials. i went there with 5 skulker chests packed in a ender chest. have another ender chest back home. ender chests are great backups of your stuff if you get killed. 4. reason to build over ocean is because your far enough away from spawnable land. all spawns will spawn in your structure not on land. second reason is you will gather all your materials. build a island to store everything as you build. you can just jump down to get more supplies. this is for the real man that plays survival. hard. non of that weenie peaceful stuff. 5. cats . no need for cats. creepers are always moving. they will always fall into the water and then fire. zombies and skullies tend to stand still. 6. for you people that say your getting zombies and skullies. you built it wrong . creepers are short. 1.5 blocks about. the room is two blocks tall and with the trap doors on celing just creepers can spawn. 7. stop asking the same dam questions that were answered in posts just a few back. take time and read the posts. if your too lazy to read this project is not for you. yes it works and on bedrock and on server and gives a good amount of gunpowder. if it doesent for you You messed it up!

The Farm is Running but sometimes Spiders spawn 😂 and idk if its my ps5 Version but the second Roof of half slaps is very bright.. They dont spawn There

i can confirm it works in bedrock but dont use slabs for the top use blocks and place slabs ontop of the blocks

Little tip I replaced the campfires with slabs and used a looting 3 sword, lots more gunpowder and xp, great farm too thank you
