This is just a sad story of someone who wants the "good old days" back and doesn't want to move on. Which is pretty relatable tbh.

this is actually of how nostalgia feels when you revisit old worlds in Minecraft in a way, or basically even like abandoned places you once used to visit as a child, this is just portrayed in a more intense and creepy way, you feel like, something is not right, you want to go back, but you cannot, you want to go back because you are missing something, but you know it is not possible, it kind of feels all... dull... and yet familiar... Your friends you miss that you used to play on a server, realm or Minecraft or other games in general, as you all go in your own separate ways, yet here it was also portrayed with a mild to moderate sense of paranoia, that they have abandoned you on purpose, which... is not rare. I believe that this creepypasta was basically just founded upon nostalgia and longing for the past, but in a creepier twist.

It would've sadder if much cooler if 7:57 is filled with books as if he's waiting till the day he responds, patiently adding everything he wanted to say to him in a book and quill every time he logs onto the realm, it wouldve been a cool touch to how long hes been playing the server alone and isolated.

This was more like a tragedy than a creepypasta, it almost made me cry

now that i think about it, the door is very well indicated as his acceptance, and the entity as himself trying to hold on to the player, stopping them from ever moving on

I know I already commented on this video 3 months ago as of now, but I re watched this and it reminded me of a video I recently made for my channel. It’s about the strangeness and eeriness of Minecraft Beta, 1.7 and how lonely it feels. I went into my old world I made when I was like 12 years old man. It was so profound and odd to walk around the castle I built over a decade ago. It was comforting somewhat but also creepy. This creepy pasta also actually reminds me of a server I used to play on with my friends years and years ago. It was just a simple survival server. But I had like ten friends that would join a lot. We would build our own houses, farms, get pets, hold festivals, help each other build stuff, explore together, do games, it was one of the best times in my life with those guys. I don’t remember most of their names there were mostly guys on there and a few girls. We all explores together, finding woodland mansions and running across the nether, all of us in a voice discord call. And generally we all got along pretty well. One of my good friends at the time had invited me to play on it after some bed wars matches, and we joined. Meet some cool people from all over. And literally after school, after homework, dinner, whatever, we would all jump on there and play for hours, just talking. But then this is why I relate so much to this in a Minecraft sense. After about a year of this, constantly playing. It just like died. It went away. And it was really fucking sad man. Like really sad. I started to notice only a few people would join and only play for like an hour or so then log off. They weren’t as talkative. We didn’t okay as much together and when we were on the server, we just did our own thing, maybe sending a few messages in chat back and forth. This is what happens as we grow up, and life comes down our road. People leave, they lose interest, and take hobbies in other things. Cause at the time, you think things like that will last forever, but they don’t. Then after about a month of weirdness, it just stopped. No one joined, we stopped talking, and it just faded. It was really depressing and when I brought it up to some people they just flat out ignored it. It was bizarre. I joined it one last time, and being the only one on there, where only months previously it was filled with players and fun and cheer, it was just empty, alone. And it was creepy as hell. Then a week later the guy who was running and owned the server, just canceled it. Then poof. My house, garden, items and pets and armor and red stone things just gone in the click of a button and I could never join it ever again. It was sad man. And all those friends I used to play with, at the time, we were pretty close. And would even talk some other then playing the game. But once it ended, like every just went their own way. I haven’t talked to them in over seven years now, and have no idea where they ended up in life, or have anyway to contact them. It was sad.

Context: This shows nothing lasts forever and that you must enjoy it because you will come to see all the memories the good times when you are all alone and then snap back to reality to see that its all over

There are many 'scary creepypastas', but there are very few 'sorrowful creepypastas'. This is by far the best among 'sorrowful creepypastas'. For me, it became my favorite work after 'Easter Egg' and 'The Lost Player'.

Since nobody's talking about this, i will. I love all the details, especially his inventory, his sword and axe's durability lowered, his diamond pickaxe is now netherite and he ate the porkchops. The path is now grown with grass at places and all the buildings are withered and damaged. The change from desolate howl of wind to calming music. The fact that he installed shaders after a while of playing, getting grip on the gameplay experience.

That was awesome. A great take on a creepypasta! It was a lot different, than the average scary factors like glitchy worlds and figures in the distance. I did give me crazy nostalgia when I used to play on my older worlds. I've been playing Minecraft for about seven years now, and its so different even just compared to 1.14 too now. I remember clearly, when I started my very first survival world with my long time girlfriend, in 1.13. We played on it for months, building up this huge base, a large house, a tavern, gardens, chapel, redstone systems. We ended up beating the ender dragon and it took us well over eight months to do so, built everything from the ground up. Watching this creepypasta, it made me realize how things do not last forever. I mean yeah, this is Minecraft, its not like its your first ever relationship you had or buying your first house for yourself, but this still has meaning and purpose, just in a different light. It reminded me oddly, of things from my childhood, like the woods I used to explore with my friends when I was a kid or the house I grew up in before moving out. Now sadly, that forest was torn down and a hotel stands upon its soil. I think the eerie part for me was the strange figure and the feeling of being alone in an old and abandoned world, that you used to play on with your friends or even just by yourself, wither its singleplayer or realms. This one had a different flavor, it was more emotional to me than scary. I felt bad for Acosh, because he stared up this server with such excitement, only for it to crumble away and fade in the end. Revisiting old worlds, forgotten places, portrayed in an intense, odd way. Its drab and dull, but somewhat familiar. It made me feel pity for him immensely, all his friends slowly not joining as much compared to when they began to build, the flashbacks, then disappearing all together because they simply lost interest, which is natural. As sad as it may be, as he get older, people grow apart, and you move on, you have other things coming into your life: jobs, school, relationships, new friends, pets, family. There is a theory, I don't know the exact percentage, but I think it's like, 70% of people don't stay friends after high school or something like that. You got to various colleges or take on professions that steer you toward another road, sometimes alone. That's the way of life. To where he just joins alone and alone he is forever. The part at 16:30 got me the most, to where he says he misses them, but in the back of his mind he truly knows there never coming back. That was heart breaking to me. And the door to nowhere, was a way for him to finally escape and leave it all behind. After watching this I joined that old world I had in 1.13 an hour later, I still have it saved. And going through it alone, it was definitely eerie, unsettling, and seeing all those things we created, for at the time we thought would last ages, is gone now. Great video, good atmosphere, and good story for a short 20 min thing. Alright I've rambled on long enough haha.

I came here for the scares, but I got here delivered with a sad reality.

At the end when it says "Everything that has a beginning has an end" means, that something you enjoyed doing with your friends can't last forever, as you all grow up and go your separate ways, you start looking down on those times, wishing you could go back and do more. The door that appears in game means that the player wants to move on himself. The mysterious dark entity is probably this player's consciousness, persisting he stays and doesn't give up so easily. This was very well made and reflects back on the old days when we had fun doing something, but life tries to tell us to move on.

If you're sad, just always remember that when one story ends, another one begins. You can't write a single story because you can make as many as you want. Everything's not over yet if you believe it that way. If you feel like Acosh, always remember that you can always rewrite your story and people... like us... like me... who typed these kind of reactions... are built different. We're the kind of people who believes that our story never ends to our last breath. We are the true Minecraftians, when we leave, we return, to continue when we feel it. I remember played a survival economic server back in 2021. It was a popular server. I played much until I had a shop, house, and some friends. I started to leave the server for months to play another server and games. When i came back, the server was empty. I decided to join and felt something was wrong. The server's chat back then was very crowded, players were chatting and promoting their shop. Now it just an empty chat. Months later the admin announced that the server would be officially closed.

The theory is that the door leads to, not leading to nowhere, but instead, leading to the nostalgic days (or old days), and of course we know that this creepypasta is almost completely relatable. We just wish that we never live in a terrible society.

from what I understand this is the shoes of Acosh, who just wants to play the game with everyone. This is the aftermath of what I'm about to talk about. They are celebrating their anniversary of their realm with everyone, but a few things happen overtime. People join time and time but slowly everyone quits, leaving Acosh and Kowlo_Karzel alone. They both talk about the state of the server and stuff but it seems Acosh is offended with what Kowlo has to say. Kowlo admits that everyone's Minecraft days are over. But Acosh disagrees and Kowlo leaves him just like all the rest leaving Acosh alone by his schizophrenic self and his server. The cuts in the videos are points which he comes back to try to relive these memories but doesn't get the same feeling. But not everything you can just always keep with you, you can go back and see your ghosts of the past and stuff but it doesn't change the fact that Acosh won't admit he will quit overtime just like the rest of them. He was desperate to relive the fun. But it'll never be as exciting as when it first happened. Change my mind.
