Minecraft EASY Creeper XP Farm - 3100 Gunpowder Per Hour! 

Items Needed in Stacks (Rounding up to the next stack in case you lose some of that item): Building Blocks: 33 stacks Trapdoors: 14 stacks Slabs: 2 stacks Scaffolding: 2 stacks Buttons: 2 stacks Snow Blocks: 32 individual blocks Torch: 22 individual items Carved Pumpkin: 16 individual blocks Glass: 16 Individual Blocks Fence Gates: 3 Individual Blocks Fence: 13 individual blocks Hoppers: 3 individual blocks (But depends if you want to increase storage production. Just add 3 hoppers for each row of storage you want to add) Chests: 3 individual blocks (I prefer 6 chests to make the chests have double the storage) (same with hoppers, but add 6 instead of 3) Carpets: 3 individual blocks Water buckets: 2 individual items Bed: 1 individual item Piston: 1 individual item Temporary Blocks: 1 stack (Prefer 2 stacks cause why not? :) ) Iron Blocks: 2 Stacks and 36 Blocks (Bring a few extras just in case) Beacon: One Individual block

Just tried this out on a 1.21 realm with my friends, and I'm glad to say this farm still works very efficiently!

For those wonrering, this still works fine on 1.21

I really appreciate that you use smooth stone when building so that the individual blocks get outlined and it's easier to follow.

4:40 for this part i suggest bringing a bed (or placing torches) because skeletons can start spawning and kill the snowmen :c 2:26 and on this part, the water particles will "drip" on you while waiting for creepers to fall. it's kinda irritating for me, u can place top slabs before placing the platform here

you need 32st + 52 building blocks and 13st + 20 trapdoors, now you don't have to count

I will probably stay with my variation on ilMangos classic Creeper farm but still: Your videos are about to set a new standard in terms of Minecraft tutorials. Infos like the dimension of the farm ahead of building it, markers on where to place the water buckets and numbered lines to show how many blocks you have to go in which direction make your videos not only very clear to understand, but also ideal to build while watching. Quick tip for anyone who needs Gunpoweder in the late game, I recommended a raid farm instead save the materials, you’ll get Gunpowder, Redstone, and Emeralds, Etc. Trust me it’s worth it I don’t even need to use a gunpowder farm ever again Edit: It also substitutes making a Redstone Farm, Witch Farm, and Creeper Farm. There is a raid farm tutorial on this channel. The raid farm is Originally made by Ianxo4, but you can watch it on his channel or this one if you need more simple instructions

This my new XP farm to work alongside my spider spawner, a bit complicated to built without elytra though, but with scaffolding it wasn’t impossible, also made a water elevator to get up to the Plattform👍🏼

Built in deep frozen ocean. Rates are around 2500-3000. Usable. The gap is big because i'm too lazy to light up the ice berg in this ocean. I only picked area that have very low height ice bergs 👌🏼👌🏼 Edit: To keep water unfrozen, just place a opened wooden gate on the water source Test 1 : 2880 gun powders

I get why you need slabs next to the snow golems, but could you just use string (or buttons) instead? To make it easier for the creeper to go down the hole? And it also prevents spiders from spawning right?

I love how the items go from hardest to easiest, makes what parts will be most challenging very clear

works in 1.20.1, you don’t need to build it in a deep ocean biome you can build it anywhere as long as it’s in the sky im pretty sure

If you want to make it automatic use soul campfires instead of carpets at the bottom.

For bedrock 1.20 this design spawns spiders that kill the golems. To fix: Place buttons instead of slabs in any pattern that doesn’t allow 2x2 spaces. Also, trapdoors don’t need to be above any spawn proof blocks and can save a lot of wood to omit them. Put sweet berries around the golems with half slabs above if you want to keep the spiders.

if anyone is wondering, i think it is possible to turn this into an automatic non-xp farm by just adding campfires idk if someone had suggested this already, so here it is i guess

confirmed best creeper farm design. Expandable, highest production rate. I love that i dont even have to afk . Just stay there for 5 minutes and i have a full box of gun powders.

took so long to build but very worth it and i can confirm the rates are accurate to what the video shows and says

I used this saucer shape as inspiration for my creeper and mob farm, with an afk spot around 188 and they work great. Creeper farm is at sea level and makes more gun powder than I need. I spent 15 min afk and got all the gun powder I needed. I used the mob farm to get ender pearls to make eyes of ender. The mob farm does not have side walls and is built in the ocean at sea level. I added a side bunker to do manual kills. both were supper easy to build.

Here's a tip on how to place the trapdoors on the roof, you can basicly stand on top of the slabs, sneak and spam right click.This method is so fast that I finished placing all of the trapdoors in about 10 minutes wich is impressive ! Thanks for the toturial keep up the great work

You don't necessarily need a beacon for longer AFK sessions. If you're fine using mods, then use tweakaroo and set an attack speed and then rebind your place block to a different key on your keyboard and then just have something sit on the said key. This will make sure that you eat whenever you get hungry. I've built this farm before and did an 8+ hour afk session without the beacon before and was just fine using this method.

To anyone wondering I made this with 10 stories aka levels and it produced 20,000 Gunpowder/h And Level 105/h Edit: I made it 9x stories again in a different world and still baffled at how easy it is to build when you learn to speedrun the layer building some of my best times were about 20min per layer

Just built double layers and it is literally creeper rain. I get like 11,000+/h instead of 5,700/h as it was mentioned in the video too. 3 stacks of gunpowder every minute... Easily the best farm out there, thanks. Version 1.21.1 btw

Will It Not Work if we build above Y=220 anywhere in the world? After all the ocean in used just to improve the efficiency of the farm right ?

I don't know if its an Only-java based mechanism build, but I built it in my bedrock world and it produced only 218 gunpowder per hour, all the snow golems died and it was overflooding with spiders in the spawn and the water pusher. Could you please make a Minecraft Bedrock-Based creeper farm that's in the latest version and is efficient? Thanks

Can I use 1 snowman instead of 16 per floor? I'm on multiplayer public serv with mob limiter on. And why didn't you fill those "chimney" gaps with glass up to the top?

My mods: built a platform at 189 just to be safe for efficient afking(I personally don’t know how if things spawn at the ocean level even when your at y-164 but In xp guides most people use this level so I’m sure it’s fine) I also put soul campfires on top of the hoppers (delete the carpet)to make Afk(without xp… see effortless enderman farm for best xp)

Good farm, works well. Will note though you have to have your golems spread out before you do the piston thing or they only fire at one angle. Also when the platform is up but you don't have the trapdoors on the cieling yet, make sure to keep it lit up because skeletons can spawn and agro on the golems killing them.

thanks man, this farm is really fast and i get stacks of gunpowder when id otherwise expect to have like 10 there. i kill 1 creeper and 2 more drop down right afterwards.i guess it could be because of looting 3 and me playing on hard mode, but it still is much faster than expected

Incredible gunpowder farm i achieved a full row of it in just 10 minutes of it being fully built and an incredible xp farm as well it took me from level fifteen to 28 in a matter of minutes i recommend you build this.

Still honestly just such a perfect farm. Ridiculously simple to make, and perfect for a person who's playing solo.

is it okay to build the farm higher to avoid mobs spawning below the farm? that's easier than building it far away in the ocean but I'm worried that there would be less creepers

i recommend unbreaking mending sweeping edge and looting on the sword for maximum xp and items

This farm still works well for me on Java 1.21 Hardcore. I haven’t gone afk for long on it so I’m not sure if the rates are quite as good but it’s more than enough gunpowder for rockets.

Without Unbreaking III on the sword, you're losing out on a large amount of XP due to Mending having more damage to repair.

Tip: in the auto clicker setting change delay to 550 milliseconds and also change to repeat until stopped

for the roof i think u can use bottom slabs instead of full blocks + it would save more resources and time

Dont forget to add torches while filling up the platform. Skeleton Will kill them. Dont ask me How i know

if you dont wanna use a sword and have this auto farm, you can replace the carpet with campfires

When you are making Xp Farm videos, PLEASE clarify that you’re using Spruce Trapdoors (aka ones that don’t let light through) instead of the others. As forget as I am, I built the farm with normal oak trapdoors, and I got pissed once I learned that I needed spruce ones. This is a common mistake among these types of channels.

On 1.20.6 buttons don't seem to block spawns on adjacent blocks. Everywhere they used buttons I switched to carpet and all other spawns have been blocked. Add 1 carpet adjacent of the 4 blocks by the hole they drop in and some carpet in the back areas where there is a 3x3 space and no spiders will spawn. If your golems are dying it's probably because spiders are spawning. The farm still works with out the golems but it is much much slower

When I need a farm design, I always look at Shulkercraft's channel because they always provide!

I need some help please. For some reason. spiders are spawning in my farm. Ive built it exactly as it should but they still spawn. Any solutions? Edit: Ive fixed it I think. I missed 1 slab which is where spiders could spawn. If you have the same problem, count all your slabs and make sure they are 2 apart. Also : THIS IS A JAVA FARM, NOT BEDROCK :)
