For those who are seeing the shulker boxes in the output hoppers rather than the empty shulker chest on the unloader the output hopper needs to be full for the empty boxes to go in the designated chest. I have mine connected to a dropper tower for the items to be sorted which helped slow it down enough for the hoppers to fill.
Empty shulker boxes ended up in the item output for me instead of the shulker chest. For those who have the same problem: I was able to fix this by adding a tick extender. I did this by adding a redstone dust path with 1 repeater on default delay from the observer output (the one underneath the input chest) to the output hopper to lock it a tick longer while the shulker box gets broken.
This helped me. It did take me a while to fully understand the change so here's my take. You need to delete the sticky piston, block, and observer on the left side of the unloader (view in video). From the observer below and 1 block left of the input chest (the one observing the hopper below input chest), take a redstone line down to the items output hopper with a repeater on default delay. This extends the tick by 1 and allows the hopper to stay locked long enough. I hope this helps
Thanks, i understand yours better! BUT i have a question, wher do i start and wher do i end the redstone line? AS I Understand it, the line starts from the input observer and goes into the hopper under the placed shulker chest, but i do not understand how this changes anything? Does a redstone line change the hopper output?@@maxclarke462
@@maxclarke462what do you mean by observer on left side? Do you mean the one that is below the normal piston or the one that to the right of the sticky piston
@@siegfriedrauter2740 I'll try to answer as best as i can. I just did the changes, and so far it's been working consistantly. What i did was i destroyed the sticky piston and the block on the left side (the opposite side of where the comparators are). Then i just made a line of redstone from the observer looking into the hopper underneath the input chest, and wired it down to the a block on the side of the hopper where the items from the shulkerbox end up. And remember to put a repeater at the end of the line at 1 tick. This will lock the hopper long enough, and prevent the empty shulkerboxes from going into your sorting system etc.
I replaced the hopper feeding the dropper with a crafter. in the crafter I put in 2 stacks of shells and a stack of chests, in the hopper feeding the crafter make sure there is atleast 1 stack of shells and 1 stack of chests. In the chest I then have a bunch of shells and chests. If the chest feeding this is a double chest and everything is filled then this setup can hold the equivalent of 1312 shulkers (a little over 24 double chests worth) which should hopefully mean I'll never have to refill it.
Very easy and simple and works perfectly! For farms producing more than 1 item you will have to make an item sorter otherwise the shulkerboxes won’t break after they are full if they have 2 different items in it
@@Abeillo Whose work/design is it then? I read a lot of them 'stealing' designs, but for me: The tutorial is easy to follow and short. That's their work though...
@@alainstoos1694 i dont know if it is the "original maker" but they provide a link to someone who did it before them in the description and yes i agree, their tutorial is Nice to follow
@@alainstoos1694 all of the designs on their channel are stolen, they are not designing any farms. They create tutorials to make it easier for people to build them, that's all. (but yes, a few times they've technically "stolen" farms by not crediting the original creator)
BTW this does work in 1.21 Java. If your emptied shukers are ending up in the item output, make sure that you keep the item output chest at the bottom and don't replace it with a hopper or anything else - that was causing me to have this issue at first. That chest can then feed into a hopper below if needed.
Any chance you guys can do an updated high rates shulker farm? Would come in pretty handy right before the unloader and I cannot seem to find any decent tutorials anywhere that aren’t up to date
I love the ease of viewing and walkthrough! Is this a Java build? I tried making this on Bedrock and it isn't breaking the shulkers after it is filled.
BEDROCK FIX loader. 1. Place redstone on piston 2. Remove the observer attachment to the piston and add a solid block 3. Remove the chest, hopper and dispenser behind the piston 4. From the red stone on the piston add 4 repeaters with 4 tick delay each(this is to stop the double pulse for the observer) to power the dropper 5. Add back the hopper to the dropper with a chest
Can anyone explain why is it needed to build couple of shulker loaders for farms? One of my farm produces 30k+ items per hour, im using only one shulker loader for it and it works perfectly
Hello There! would you be able to make a video, or know a good channel, for dummies (like me) on how to download mods for both single player and servers? specifically i don't know how to have old mods work on new versions? I know you have made a video before, but maybe dumb it down even more lol. Always love your content!
I know just enough redstone that if I see a design, I can roughly figure out how it works, but just barely not enough to build anything practical entirely off of my own skill.
Works for me in 1.21 java. Make sure that you keep the item output chest at the bottom and don't replace it with a hopper - that was causing me to have this issue at first. The chest can then feed into a hopper below if needed.
i never done this before 😂...so where do i put the shulker filler ? mabye i didnt do it right idk..the shulker loader just wont do anything 😅 ..sigh im prolly an idiot but i do appreciate some help 😊
@warrenfriede112 I think this also work in on BE as well ,you should look at other tutorial to understand more about this contraption you just need to fill a shulker box with amount of items your farm produce and put in the hopper that connected with comparator...I'm sorry if you didnt understand this I'm very bad at english as you can see 🤣
@@MrTIMN-np6ff You wrote that perfectly. I built " Silent's" unloader and it worked first try and wasn't even chunk aligned. I've built redstone contraptions for a decade with all sorts of complexity attached to project, but with shulker loaders and updates, there's always a bug I have to learn first and then re -learn the loader! lol Thank you for writing back.
Auto compacting mass output from farms for easy collection, versus auto unpacking of farmed/mined materials you collected in shulkers into a storage system
I would like to fill the shulker boxes with non stackable items. But this loader doesn't work here. Does anyone has a solution for this? Edit: It also works with non stackable items, but it doesn't work with stackable and non stackable items both in one shulker box
I have an issue with the farm, a new shulker box isnt placing in the shoot when a full shulker box is broken even though my dropper is full of empty shulker boxes. can someone help me with this
Thank you for the arrows in the video. It really helps when building and then when double checking if something does not work. Can you do a new Shulker farm soon? I have not been able to find one that works. The ending credits one you guys built was supposed to start working in 1.20.5, but I tried it yesterday and it will not work. Anyone know of a working Java Shulker Farm in 1.20.5+?
Very nice work and Content but I just wanna suggest not to make tutorials anymore as you have a lot of them in your channel already and start to play Minecraft as a normal player like survival series or hardcore series or join any famous smp . It will be a little easy for you cause you have a lot of subs 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
