About Encrypted_ Modpack:
Encrypted_ is a sci-fi questing modpack for Minecraft 1.18.2. It contains technology mods such as [Mekanism/Create/Thermal] and magic mods such as [Blood Magic/Hexerei/Mahou Tsukai/Mana and Artifice]. It also has CHEMISTRY!
Progress through different mods and build complicated machines and factories, with the goals of crafting creative items and achieving greatness! You start in an empty simulation, where your goal is to get back to reality!

Honestly my first thought going into this episode, it's basically Antimatter Chemistry but better and in a higher version of Minecraft. And ofc as I watch this my first thought was basically spot on, which honestly makes me suspicious of it.

In project e, instead of dissolving into elements imagine if the transmutation table broke up each item into flat out atoms and gave each a certain value (emc). Then when it created something it would just reassemble the stored emc you have into other things. The only thing I think it would need is some energy requirement.

Planks are horribly inefficient when it comes to burnable fuel since each plank is 1.5 burns where charoal is 8. You get 4 planks per log which is 6 burns per, so you're missing out on 2 extra burns per log when you craft and burn planks. It's better to automate charcoal with wooden hoppers going into a furnace hoppered into the stone generator. I get the idea of saving time with burning planks vs cooking logs into coal, but the trade off is you're going to need roughly 25% more trees to cut down to match the burns, so you're trading off cook time for harvest time.

@@davidmeade4290 Even factoring that in, it's still better to burn logs into charcoal for several reasons, especially in this modpack. For one, you start with a wooden pickaxe. Assuming it's not broken by the time you get better tools, which is very quickly you get copper tools from the questing book. You can utilize this as a way to get your first charcoal without wasting wood. The second reason is this pack has Minicoal, which lets you break coal down into 8 coal chucnks, each with 1 burn so you don't waste the entire coal on something like making 5 logs into coal and 3 cobblestone to stone. This pack makes it very easy to have efficient fuel for your furnaces and generators, which is why it hurts even more when he turns entire stacks of logs into planks to burn.

you go from 6 smelts to (8-1) smelts, as one smelt has to go back into producing the charcoal . It's a lot smaller of a boost than you think.

if you want to place chests above another chest, you shift click on the bottom chest to build the chest above, and then shift click on the side of the chest you want to connect it to.

I just completed this pack; I sort off skipped a few challenges because I didn't want to wait for automated resources. The builder does not know how to break some of the ores in other planets; that was annoying. Also, the combiners tend to forget the recipe they are locked into causing auto crafting to break when using them; this was the most painful part of the pack imho. I actually enjoyed the pack; I hope you have fun with it.

ngl i mostly listen to these in the bg as i draw or whatever, so it being similar to another pack isn't a huge deal to me (it's all background noise after a certain point lol) but the premise of this one is pretty interesting! i was curious, so i looked it up, and i think the programming language they're using to name the quests is php, which is an interesting choice considering it's mostly used for server scripting for webpages. i would've expected either java (considering its y'know minecraft) or python, so php is an interesting choice. of course, i could just be a dingus lol anyway, interested to see where this one goes! i like seeing all these tech-focused packs, since i mostly play magic mods (i despise grinding lmao)

If you take the seeds turn them in to dirt than brake it down you can get alot of clay fast that way instead of making it 1 at a time

24:26 The gold chest is better as of right now because the chest can hold 81 stacks of any given item while the drawer can only hold 32 stacks of a single item.

how did you fix the GUI of the Alchem machines. On my game the GUI layout isn't right. Nothing goes into the boxes as its supposed to .... they are either way above the pictured boxes or below or to the side of them. . I have taken out resource packs but nothing looks right still. Is there a resource pack I need to add to fix it? I also tried using a different GUI scale to see if that mattered.. didnt help at all.
