Since the 1.20.2 update, the endermen can reach higher. put the endermite 2 blocks higher, make the platform the endermen spawn on 1 block higher, so they can still see/aggro the onto the endermite, place leaves on top of the "wall of leaves", so they're 3 blocks above the endermite, so that IF the endermen teleport up there, they can't reach the endermen, and then place trapdoors all the way up the side that the endermite is on, otherwise they can get onto the ones you already have, and kill the endermite .. Honestly, I did go into creative to trial and error this xD Otherwise, I would have just built another, that doesn't require the endermite, but if any of you come back here for a fix, it's doable :D

Great advice, I made these changes and it works agian now. I have however found the rates are not as good in 1.20.2 - I keep running out of endermen to kill - any ideas?!

just some tips: -take off thorns for the endermite, I accidentally killed mine at first -make sure theres a safe enterance/exit and I reccomend a door at the exit with a sign reminding you for elytra -make sure you cannot fall into the enderman pit AT ALL, I fell in and popped 2 totems and got down to 3 hearts because of entity cramming -for the chests you can extend that platform a bit and make them double chests for a bit more storage also this worked very very well tysm for the video

For me, if you placed that endermite one block higher, the endermen won't be able to kill it . The endermen in my farm ended up killing the endermite when it was exactly in the spot shown in the video . But really great farm i gotta say

I would recommend bringing an extra 20-30 blocks because you will most likely drop some in the void I had to go back and get more blocks and it was a pain in the butt. It worked perfectly 10/10 would recommend I filled 5 small chests 1/2 of my inventory and 1/2 large chests in about 5-10 minutes

Attention: Put the Endermite one block BACK and allow the Endermen to see it through a one block hole. This means the Endermite is not out in the open, but one block back, in a one block hole. This will work and it will not die. From somebody who had to make two trips back to base for a name tag (and thankfully learned to try it in creative before wasting a third name tag). GOOD LUCK!!!

tqsm i built this farm in my world and its perfect, i recommend you use a sword with the sweeping edge enchantment, sharpness also helps, my sword has max sweeping and sharpness IV. You also should place the endermite one block higher or the endermen will kill it. Its so easy to get to lvl 30.

I've been using this farm for a while now, but I've noticed recently that it needs an update (i think?). I've been having issues with the endermen being able to reach and kill the endermite. It appears that if you move the minecart one block further away, while still being boxed in by leaves (so long as there is still line of sight to the endermen) it still will work.

Wouldn’t work for me at all. I put the endermite a block higher as many people suggested, but it died. So I also removed the trapdoors on the side the endermite is on and also raised the wall of leaves by another block and it died again. Gonna try this later again by putting the endermite another block higher. The tutorial itself was awesome but the farm just isn’t good

This took me like an hour to build on a server with a friend helping On and off .for Early game, considered how easy it is to build, is stupidly fast. Long term, it won’t be as fast as say a gold farm but it is so easy to build . U earned my sub :)

I personally prefer the more resource-expensive but more efficent one where they spawn on a platform in the sky and then fall so they are oneshot but if you don't have/don't want to farm for resouces this is still very good.

Excellent farm, anyone knows perhaps why is it important to build it at the 8th and 9th step in the chuck, and why it has to be at the bottom of the world, rather than just building a leaves bridge just right off the edge of the main island?

If the enderman are killing the endermite because of the new update, just raise the platform where the endermite is sitting up by one, this will make it so the enderman can't kill it. It will work if they aren't killing it anyway. (I'm only putting this here because some people do not trust older reviews:) )

I have a little probleme. Endermen are not spawning more though I play on hard mode. And the endermen are somehow hitting the endermites before felling into trapdoors. Please help

Two things to know: 1. The endermans will probably hit you when you release them, and then kill you. 2. You will forgot to rename the name tag, you will recall when the endermite is spawned, so you'll have to go back at your base to rename the name tag, but the endermite will be gone when you'll came back, but no enderpearls left, so you'll have to return again at your base again to take more enderpearls to finally respawn the endermite and name it. Of course, it will hit you while you'll be low life bc of the enderpearls you used and you'll finally die.

Solutions : 1. I recommend releasing them without items on you so you can die after. 2. RENAME THE NAMETAG, or bring anvil with you. And wear an armour to spawn endermite, it will be easier not to die. And also, ensure you have CLICKED on the endermite with the nametag BEFORE putting it in the minecart, you CAN'T do it after ! Whatever happens, DON'T put other blocs than leaves or endermans will teleport to kill the endermite (and you) !!!!

For newer versions, you need to put the endermite one block back in the direction of the main end island. This will prevent endermen from hitting it.

You put it one backwards, and then you put the leaves in an upside-down u shape above the minecart and then place three leaves on the top of the upside-down u shape(the three leaf wide part), which prevents endermen from teleporting there, but still allows them to see it

So ive built this farm at least 3 times and the time I built it today the endermen were able to kill the endermite. Im not sure if it is bc of the new 1.20.2 mob reach or not. but to fix it you just have to make the part with the rail and minecart 1 block higher then the endermen will not be able to reach it

Hello i have a question i build everything perfectly and suddently my Endermite disapperd i was waching it she didnt die and i had nametag is it cuz the new Verse 1.20.4 ?

Put it 1 block above, the endermen could have killed it.

IMPORTANT: Raise the level of the endermite (on the cart) and the wall of leaves around it by 2. The enderman cant kill it. Just try it in creative before so you dont risk losing items or time. Good Luck!

@@Posik_p retry and get another Endermite and then place a nametag on it before it goes into a minecart. And do what i said. Build around the endermite 2 blocks higher.
