Minecraft Exploration Maps - How to Find, How to Use (Woodland Mansion, Ocean Monument) 

That beautiful moment.... When you see the white dot start to move... After 12k blocks...

Recently I got a Woodland Mansion Map, and it was so far away that i travelled around 10,000 blocks (in the right direction) and the white dot wasnt getting any bigger at all xD. At least i found like 10 villages and 4 desert temples

I got a woodland mansion map, and it led me to a wall of a woodland mansion. It was just like a skinny wall from a woodland mansion. So i pretty much got scammed by the villager..

The journey I took it a long one, after 12k block I then realize I headed the wrong way. I'm running out of food, if anyone see this, it been too late for me

I love this video so much. The combination of the walkthrough and and the background music is just magic to me. Makes me want to explore some more.

*gets the map* Me: YESSSSSSS *that one moment after 20 years when the dot increased by a meter* Me: MY NEW HOUSE IS JUST OVER YONDER *celebrates*

Damn, seeing this video suddenlly struck me with a massive wave of nostalgia I wasn't prepared for AT ALL

What the hell, I travelled 13k blocks on survival, just to find out that the mansion isn't actually there..

Thanks a lot, I was never good with maps in Mc, didn't know the system was so simple, I got a woodland map and was in the top right corner so south west is the direction huh, thanks man!

me and my friend accidently found the Woodland Mansion without a map. WE WERE SO HAPPY. LOL

Using the default texture pack will help show your location on the map.

Thanks so much for this! It might sound stupid, but I never realized that you could determine the direction by knowing what corner you're in. I just bought an Ocean Explorer map (I wanted a woodland mansion, but this will certainly do) and was frustrated because I could see the dot in the furthest corner of the map...

I remember traveling for hours on the huge ass ocean and the dot didn't move, eventually I just gave up, but hey, I found THREE fucking ocean monuments at least, I wrote their coordinates and returned

After 2 and a half hours I found the woodland mansion and because of woodland mansion map, I have discover so much things and a creepy places like mountain that is not fully generated thankyou for the tip. I'm so happy because this is the first time that I found the woordland mansion in survival not in creative. Thank you again!!!!Hhahahahajahahajahahaa

Very nice explanation. Top of the map will ALWAYS be north, bottom south, left side west & right side east, no matter what direction you are pointing in the overworld.

perfect tutorial no stupid HEY GUYS TODAY IM GOING TO SHOW YOU... followed by an annoying intro for the channel and then you're at 1:30 in and the actual video topic hasn't even started yet. no stupid voice over that talks a lot more than it should just the necessary text written out cut and sped up so it's easier to follow just 4 minutes of straight up tutorial and not a 15 minute video with 2 minute effective tutorial coupled with a 10 minute long lets play and 3 minutes of intro and outro good job dude

one week into the game i finally find a farmer villager to get a ton of emeralds from my gardening, 6 villages later trading with white coat villagers finally one of them has a exploartion maps he has an ocean monument and a mansion map i get the mansion map somewhere near -700 60 600 were i kept a base there was a village who had the mansion exploration map (i was at 3300 65 -100 getting the emeralds from the farmer) this took 2 days wandering about to even find that village with the only cartographer with the map i go and assume hey it wont be so bad the mansion was at -6000 70 16000 the bloody mansion i passed 1 desert temple 2 ocean monument 1 jungle temple 3 villages got myself a parrot and lost it got myself dogs and lost those got myself a cat and lost it too ik i suck at keeping pets, got 3 donkeys and a horse ditching every single one of them the second i see a large body of water and taking the saddle the seed is 3563383350512458970 i hate my life i even went into 3 nether fortesses and not 1 single chest not 1 single nether wart i built a blaze farm i got i got nearly half a double chest filled with blaze rod and still cant even brew any potions now i need to make a 2k block tunnel in the nether thats going to cost me at least 3 diamond picks i think ill just live in them mansion looks better than my man cave or the tiny base things i built near villages XD

The good idea is olso placing 8 papers and map in the middle in the crafting table the map will be bigger

Use this command to find the nearest structures example yo want to find a mansion youll use this com /locate mansion And it will show you the coordinates to the mansion you could tp to it by typing: /tp @s *cooordinates* Example /tp @s -1144 ~ 1834

Odd, when I opened the map, it took data from an other map I had on me. I'm standing in the middle of the map, and there is no house... Can someone help me? (Also I'm not using texture.)

You can also use same seed for another world, use /locate command to find coordinates of e.g. mansion, return to your survival world with same seed and orientate by coordinates.

just curious,i havent ever gotten my hands on a woodland explorer map until yesterday,how do i know where to go? theres no little house icon

Woodland Mansion aka 'spooky Mansion'. If you go to 'seed' and choose spooky Mansion then you can just go in. (I play on a switch so it might be different)

I got to the ocean explorer map and I went there and saw it. Right next to it was a sunken ship with a treasure map. Now I'm trying to find the woodland mansion
