Minecraft: Fishing Dock Tutorial (How to build)

Me trying to build Drowneds : peace was never an option

Just built this on a smp i’m in and i loved the design and it’s looks so good, keep up the amazing content

MATERIALS 4 ½ stacks of dark oak logs 4 stacks dark oak slabs 48 stripped spruce wood 63 dark oak stairs 4 stacks of dark oak slabs 1 ¾ stacks of dark oak trap doors 44 dark oak fences 15 dark oak fence gates 1 stack and 15 dark oak signs 22 stone brick slabs 3 stone brick walls 7 barrels 5 chests 1 dark oak door 1 campfire 11 lanterns

Loved building this in my friends server, I flipped the sides everything was on to better suit the land I was building off, as well as used spruce and stripped oak to integrate smoothly into our town. Turned out great. Awesome tutorial!

My ONLY issue with this video is it moves WAY too fast. Like even by pausing standards, it’s very difficult to get a good look for comparison to what I’m building as i slowly try to follow along. But this is a seriously gorgeous build that adds something beautiful to the environment! Ty for sharing ♥️

Boat rack is crushing my soul 😢😂

A friend solved the boat problem. :) (Minecraft Java 1.20.2) Below: 1.) Remove stairs at one side and place the boat. 2.) Maybe you need to sit in it and turn into the right way. 3.) Place behind the boat three blocks, remove first block, place stairs, remove middle block, place piston, remove last block and place redstone-block. 4.)Remove redstone-block an repeat on Top Ein Freund hat das Bootsproblem gelöst. :) (Minecraft Java 1.20.2) Unten: 1.) Die Treppe an einer Seite entfernen, das Boot platzieren. 2.) Vielleicht musst du dich reinsetzten und es in die richtige Richtung drehen. 3.) Platzieren hinter dem Boot einen Block und zwei weitere dahinter, entfernen den ersten Block, platzieren die Treppe, entfernen den mittleren Block, platziere einen Kolben, entfernen den letzten Block und platzieren einen Redstone-Block. 4.)Entfernen den Redstone-Block und wiederhole alle Schritte oben drüber.

For any of my fellow bedrock users who are having trouble with the boat rack, instead of the trapdoor on the middle part, I used dark oak slab. It works just the same. Hope this helps!

nice design congrats! and about the boat rack instead of "F" pattern you can use "C"patern, it take more space but the boat enter whitout a problem and whit some extra details it look even better. P.D "C" pattern is one stairs block normal and above of that one inverted looks like a C or a claw whatever you think it is

I am flabbergasted by the build. Never in my life have I had a build more headache inducing. I built this with my wife, and we both are left speechless of how painful the extreme the process was. 10 out of 10 though, good build. All in good fun

Holy shit, I can't believe nobody said this about the freaking boats I spent ages on. No pistons needed, just put the trapdoors down BEFORE you put any boats down. It's so simple lmaaaooo I waanaaa diiieeeee

I know there is the wooden slabs that look like two boards on top of each other but what's the one with just one piece? Is it the trap door or possibly a pressure plate? Thanks in advance!

This build is gorgeous but oh my god i kinda lost it at the innacuracy in numbers and then 4 different drowned with tridents murdering me and a creeper got stuck in the boat rack, but I didn't hit my boiling point so i am a-okay and rocking a new dock 👍🏼

I had to use a piston in order to get the boatstand right - but in the end it looked good... i shortened mine so it was only 5 pillars out instead of 7 - and i worked to... 🤣

Guys for the boat stacking instead of sitting it on the trapdoor put a slab down and the next boat will sit on it instead of falling through the trapdoor

For the right side for the hut, is it 3 blocks right and one up? Or two blocks to the right

Maybe you can’t do it in the new update but I can’t get the boats in that thing at 2:44

cant place boats in 1x1 space anymore so the boat rack is not buildable with the boats but otherwise amazing build!

Love the design, but unfortunately I can't get the boat rack to work, the boats refuse to go in :(

The build goes off course at 1:40 doesnt add up to the original mapping but still a good design overall

We need a better tutorial for the boat rack. Still having a lot of trouble putting those there. Pushing the stairs with a piston doesn't work, when the piston retracts it takes with it the boat, taking out the boats from the racks

Am I doing something wrong with the pillars section? My section of the dock that has the house on it isn't symmetrical like in the video...

This video just reminded me how bad I am at building, even tho it's been 7 years since I started playing Minecraft...

the materials count was very off and a bit confusing, I had to keep extra wood and a crafting table nearby for the missing pieces, and I had to slow down video speed by 0.75 or 0.5 bc it was too fast, but otherwise I'm very happy with the build, thank you

What shaders and texture pack do you use?

Hey , your pillars shifted toward the end. At about 8:53 , when you were building the boat dock. I counted 5 pillars from shore , then all of a sudden , it’s the fourth pillar from the fishing dock.

loved this build, my only complaint is that the amount of materials needed wasnt accurate
