Fun Fact: The sound at 0:01 was originally scrapped due to being “too happy”. It was not a sad or angry noise that a ghast typically makes. However, it was eventually added around 2018-ish because they thought it was endearing when communicating to other ghasts, as they are kinda lovable with their cute tears. It’s called “Affectionate Scream.”
@@keldeostudies149 That makes sense because ghasts are not native to the Nether. They are actual living spirits, and we know this because they do not get hurt from potions of healing like undead mobs do.
Fun fact: the first high pitched scream is an unused sound for the ghast called the "affectionate scream," I guess it's meant for when the ghast is happy? But anyway it's not in the game and is only accessible through the game files
i love how it just starts off with all the cute sound effect but then it just cuts to the sounds of a ghast becoming a physical and psychological torture victim
@@entertainmentanimationsdon’t let the face and those noises get to you. They may look innocent, but if they see you, you’ll wish they haven’t, kaboom! 💥
Imagine your out for your first walk since the pandemic started after playing a good game of mine craft and suddenly you hear the sound of a ghast fire ball
And this is why the Ghasts are my favorite. They are cute, adorable, terrifying, and that's what I like about them. Their sounds are FIRE! (no pun intended)
I swear dude I was playing modded today and went to the nether for the first time, i was in a tight cave and heard a ghast, i was like "ok, something to look out for when i get out of here" and the he must've spawned in the cave too because he started screaming and died of suffocation and i found his tears a while later. i got so scared because the volume was so damn loud
There was a time I was chilling in the nether and I was fighting a ghast and when I hit it, the noise it made genuinely made me scared, and shocked, so I literally paused for a second
This will aways be the most horrifying thing in minecraft for me and no one else can convince me otherwise. It just kinda sounds like something from deep web...
