It’s so heartwarming how Etho is talking you up in front of everyone. That’s a real friend: roasts you in private, but sings your praises in public.

I love how Bdubs is basically the anti-Doc. Form over function, and the most manual farm possible. Watching you build the farms made me think of Doc that never wants to do anything lol

I'm so glad Gem's chat reminded the Hermits to go see the waterfall in the forest. It is a gorgeous feature that shouldn't be missed!

The shots that bdubs gives us before the start of the actual video are absolute gold he has such an artistic eye for those type of things

You *completed* your *Mission Possible* mission Bdubs. The task was to *build it* after that you're complete. You just aren't allowed to take it away until they spot it. A lot of the missions are about hiding or building something that'll be fun for someone to discover, none of them require you to wait for the discovery. In fact, completing the task swiftly and getting the book back is kind of vital for the Mission Possible to work smoothly. If 20 hermits each wind up waiting around for people to discover something then the remaining hermits will just be cycling the same few missions over and over and everyone will be bored of it.

Etho knowing the exact brightness level you play at was so wholesome; then he tried to downplay it like he didn’t know “ 30 or something😗” - I wish we had more etho and bdubs collab content. Y’all have been working together for so long now, the chemistry is awesome

For me, this was the season that BDubs became etho tier in terms of immersing his audience and framing his content in a way that sucks you in. He's gotten so so much better over the years and this season he's really shining.

this is a niche compliment, but for some reason i love the aesthetic of using two colons in every title Minecraft Hermitcraft :: Bdubs Distillery looks a lot better than Minecraft Hermitcraft : Bdubs Distillery that's fascinating

it would be soooo cool if bdubs built a custom cave and thats where the netherwart was farmed... like a craggy, kinda hidden away entrance leading into this dark, dank cave thats both eerie and beautiful, and that's where the netherwart grows. It would add another entire "natural" feature like the forest while also being useful for the potion permit

you could set a recycle bin in your potion store or brewery so hermits can dispose their used glass bottles

In Season 9 Cub did a survey with some of the hermits to get an idea of what potions were most wanted.Might be a nice idea to do a post survey using the mail system,it would help promote the upcoming shop as well 😀

You should market your non-automated handmade potions as "artisan potions" or "micro brews" and sell those at a higher mark up more than any you might make with an automated system.

I'm sure you could barter with Grian for all the pufferfish you could ever want. He might take you to court afterwards though for engaging in commerce without the correct permit.

everyone gravitating towards the picnic table was hilarious but it proves how wild and organic the forest was, bc it made everyone want to gather at a "human-made" structure :-)

"BrewDubs Potions - handcrafted in small batches!" this is my favorite kind of build, manual just because it can be! fantastic job!

Where I live, we have basements (cellars) for our "potions"! You could make a cellar under the brewery with a damp feel, like water dripping from the ceiling, moss growing on the walls, barrels of stock with fancy names!😊

Have you considered making a lake to farm pufferfish, Bdubs? The build is absolutely lovely by the way, and I admire how you managed to paint Zed and Skizz there. It's like an intentional lawn design, just your friends' faces in your lawn casually.

Hey Bdub’s, don’t forget that glow stone makes your potions stronger and Redstone makes your potions last longer up to eight minutes so you might wanna incorporate that into your machine for potions so then you can sell them at a higher price for better strength and more time

BDubs casually starting the episode with the best trees I've ever seen in Minecraft In fact, the courthouse is quickly becoming one of my favourite builds I've ever seen. It's so tight and refined in every aspect. I can't wait to be able to look at it in person in the world download.

I think it would be fun to have some sort of recycling plant for hermits to give potion bottles back to you for some sort of reward. Adds some interactions and fun (plus a cool building opportunity). Great video as always, and that distillery is such a beautiful building.

Since you have silos and a brewery in your base, you should definitely add massive fields for all the things that you need, and of course add some beautiful custom-made crops and plants in the area

Have you seen an Oast House? It's a circular building used in brewing beer with a high conical roof. I'm sure you could make that look awesome on your distillery. Not that it doesn't look awesome already, of course!

I love how (just about) everything Bdubs says, that starts with S. He says it with Sh.😅 like, "Shuper Shmelter" and "Gotta Shreep". He is hands down my absolute FAVORITE Hermit.

The candles on the iron bars to give spikes to the metal fence are genius!

I haven’t finished the video yet, but if you didn’t touch on the front door to the distillery… WOW. Simple double door with darker wood trapdoors for shadow/depth and the two levers genuinely makes it look like an archway entry! At a glance anyway but in Minecraft with that little of space to make it rounded is impressive.

I'm pretty sure the main potions used are fire resistance, night vision and invisibility every time people want to do a prank. The others are probably going to be batch orders for particular minigames when people have done stuff in the gaming district.

The courthouse is so incredibly beautiful. The grey candles on the iron fence was genius, they fit so well and add such a nice accent, I’m obsessed

One thing's for sure - hermits aren't going to buy level 1 potions :P Besides weakness potions, I guess (for curing zombie villagers) - Adding a 3rd dropper + hopper on top of your brewing machine should be all it needs to support a 3rd ingredient too! Of course you knew that already, because you're the perfect redstone master. - You're definitely gonna want redstone to lengthen the water-breathing pots, but strength or speed pots could go either redstone or glowstone - you might even just want to stock both. - Health and Damage potions you'll want to add both glowstone and gunpowder, so that people can use them to heal up mobs - they'll need a slightly different machine for the extra ingredients though - I'd normally say don't bother with lingering potions, but they have been used by hermits in the past for decorative reasons so it might be a good money-maker for people with a lot of diamonds to throw around haha - you could sell boxes full of them for a premium! Though maybe that could just be a 'special order' situation? But yeah, blaze powder lasts ages, if you fill them up to the brim with blaze they should easily last the entire season

Idea for a potionshop: You could add a “Pfandautomat”, or a bottle deposit machine for people to use, so you can reuse bottles.

As an old mindcarcker, seeing Etho hype up Bdubs builds warms my heart.

God I know it's something that everyone constantly praises but I will always adore Bdub's editing style

I'm from the whiskey district in Scotland and this whole base makes me feel so nostalgic and homesick (in the best way!) I was wondering if you'd be interested in building a whiskey still in/around your distillery, I've always loved the alien shape and bright copper of them. I'd like to also suggest taking a look at scottish distillery pagoda roofs, theyre such an iconic shape and are used to ventilate the distillery, which might add some cool realism. Also, around distilleries the bark of the trees and river water get stained this very dark almost black colour, as a by-product of the stilling process. It doesn't cause any environmental damage, but it does make the natural area around them take a very striking contrast. Anyway I've been loving this season so much, keep up the good work!!

How you consistently make Minecraft look so gorgeous is beyond my understanding. Truly a work of art. This season is your best by a mile Bdubs, can’t wait to see it all come together.

One of your best episodes this season imo Getting to see the other hermits reactions to your builds was satisfying. I had been looking forward to you putting Zed’s face in your base so when you chose to redo the randomizer and got Skizz it initially felt pretty bad. It was a great relief to see you add Zed in later. I’m glad Etho made sure to tell us that you had hand placed every bit of grass and fern exactly how you wanted it. You take a lot of pride in your builds and it shows.

Hey Bdubs, if you’re looking for something to fill the center, you could make a single large super potion brewer with manual barrels for ingredients. It’s like some small factories have 1 large specialist machine for heavy duty tasks or mass production, and then many smaller ones for small orders. It adds story to the build, is configurable, and could let you take custom orders

just wanna let you know Bdubs that you're partly the reason that my current favorite building palette is bricks, plain terracotta, moss, mossy cobblestone, and spruce logs & planks. They just make me think of you even though they aren't all blocks you use a whole lot of at any one time

Thing about "cottage-core" is that it isn't strictly about a 'cutesy' vibe--it's more about the rustic, and how that can coincide with things that are homey, and peaceful. It's also semi-isolationist, so there's a number of reasons someone may like it. You could describe many of Thomas Kincaid's works as being cottage-core. You know, those paintings best known for the warm exploration of how light inter-plays with the scenery to brighten it, and give depth.

19:09 If you want to differentiate the machines, you could put banners with an emblem of the potion you are smelting on the droppers or different trapdoor. I think that could look more amazing than it already does ❤❤

I love the semi-automation for the potions. Just that little bit makes brewing a whole lot easier without going crazy with the redstone. One idea you could do would be to add a 3rd dispenser above the nether wart one that has either redstone or glowstone for enhanced potions. Having them brew up to their stronger/longer state would help them sell I bet.

I love how the face looks like if it’s a pattern mowed into the lawn, it’s great!

Actually, I liked the old aesthetic of the courthouse being completely grey as is, it had a colder and more unappealing feeling, really felt like you were entering a cruel place you wouldn't leave well off. Bud damn, with the vegetation it looks even better than it did! Also, I love these shambly and ruined-looking industrial feel that a lot of Bdubs' builds have this season, from the Silos and the supersmelter building to this all new distillery. It's one of my all time favourite styles and I build with it _constantly,_ so seeing who can easily be considered one of the greatest builders of our day and age build in it really makes me happy and gives me SO much inspiration!

1. BDubs cinematography is incredible. Every time. 2. I LOVE that the Hermits took a tour of each others bases, because it is so nice to see them all just appreciating the incredible work that each of them has done. I love that Etho shouted out BDubs grass placement - he knew how much work went in and he wanted his friend to get the recognition and admiration he deserves!

I just realized Scar named it a "Hollow Projector" not "Holoprojector." Like, is he even a _Star Wars_ fan? 🤣

I think most of the potions are gonna want glowstone and redstone for higher level and longer lasting.

You could do a glass bottle return with the potions, like how people used to in real life, maybe even a small incentive/discount to do so. Would go really well with your base concept this season too!

The vibes this season are so different from literally anything else I watch on youtube, let alone the Minecraft "space." You're an artist with more than blocks, man.

Even though you've already won the mission by building their faces, I think you should keep them even after they're noticed! They add a nice decorative touch to the area, like a sculpture garden. Also I don't think I ever properly took note of the giant cavern behind the distillery, could be a neat spot for one of the item farms you need for potions

bdubs, you need to create a system where you can choose which your second potion ingredient will be! for example, at the press of a button you could swap ingredients from golden carrots(night vision) to sugar(speed). it also may give you even more of the immersion that your looking for!

Bdubs remember the tricky trial chambers will need potions especially with multiple Hermits fighting in each chamber.

Bdubs, thank you for doing what you do and for being the way that you are. My dad just passed, and your videos are a refuge of peace, comfort, and joy. I can't thank you enough.

something you could add to your potion shop is a like bottle return system. you up the price for each potion by one diamond and if hermits return the empty bottle they are returned the one diamond!

In xisuma's vanilla tweaks texture pack, you can get only a potion helper thing, which shows how to make all the potions in a potion stand menu

I love bdubs’s base so much. It reminds me of my grandparents’ farm, and how my cousins would go out and explore all of the old farm buildings and machinery when we were little, making little hideouts all over the property.

Absolutely love how Etho was able to explain parts of your base to the other hermits to emphasize how much work and detail and thought go into your building style!

I really like how only parts of the slope have been mossed. It's so nice to also be able to see grass hanging over the edge of the dirt, like there're small cliffs and it's not all super smooth.

Bdubs: _"Ummm that's it..."_ feeling like you've done so little! When you've done some of the best looking structures/trees etc. That's not even counting what you''ve done in the Shopping District and at the CyberPunk City... Can't wait for you to build the massive control building they always have in cyberpunk cities (I'm kidding...not really...coz it would be cool

Y'know, it might be a good idea to put an auto crafter nearby the distillery to make plenty of surplus glass bottles whenever you need! Automation is the future!

Grian may well have a boatload or two of pufferfish that you could procure. He fished for so long to start the season and saved everything as far as I'm aware.

Idea: Maybe a vineyard around the distillery will help it fit into the landscape even more along with the tree

I think you could fix the randomizer by having all of the droppers in a circle surrounding the same hopper.

Hey Bdubs, your distillery looks amazing! One thing you could add to enhance it is an outdoor bar and a bunch of seating, like picnic tables, umbrellas or other covered areas. It feels like all brewery places these days are designed to have a space for customers to come and socialize onsite. You could get some lawn games going with armor stands or something, maybe some hanging lights with lanterns, etc

Every time you post a new video I wonder what aesthetic miracles you're going to perform, and every time I get my mind blown! Leaning trees seems like such a logical thing and yet I've never seen anyone do it the way you just did. Never stop blowing our minds!

for the basement, if you go two blocks deep and water log the layer between the house and ceiling you get a wonderful and subtle dripping effect!

My randomizer is a circle/square of droppers that is continuously pulsed with a locked hopper under one of the droppers, so when you press a button, it unlocks the bottom hopper and pulls out a random one

I get so excited whenever Bdubs posts a new video. It's so soothing to watch him just mess around with crazy new building techniques

Bdubs is the one of the hermits that gets so much done in a single episode

probably the single most obnoxious potion to get a good volume of is Potions of Regeneration due to how often Ghast Tears just end up falling into Lava, so maybe build a Ghast farm and charge people a hefty price for regen pots?
