Okay not gonna lie, this is more like a 'watch me build' rather than a tutorial due to the lack of detailed dimensions, which means I HAVE to keep pausing and rewinding and it's tedious. But, I love the design, and to show people it is doable through watching this vid, after 3 days of building alongside the vid I've completed the ship with some added twists. Now, I know its tedious and really time-consuming, but this guy got good design on this one and he tried his best at the time so just jump in the boat and try it out. The results are worth the effort.
@@urfavells8812 Simply implying what the video lacks and how some others who are new to minecraft would perceive it. If he had listed down the proper lists of building block it would be much easier for people to follow. The grid he shows do help but I found myself (at the time I was new to proper building for Minecraft) having to kept on recounting and rechecking, and having to keep coming back to material gathering in smp when Im out of wood because I didn't know that it'll take more is tiring and tedious and would cause some people to lose interest in Minecraft itself due to frustration and burn out. I don't want people to stop playing the game just because of that.
Other than the lack of clear measurements, with most of the ones that are given being slightly off, and the mistakes in the material list, and the skipping over certain details, and the shaders making it difficult to tell what block you are actually using, and the camera angles that make it impossible to tell the actual measurements, this is a good tutorial.
Great tutorial but you miss a bunch of steps and you don't explain the parts you messed up. I'd recommend reuploading this and fixing the mistakes and making things more clear, especially when you place blocks without saying how far up to place then
Yes it would improve the content but the editing should be much cleaner when changing to another song or music and yea not a lot of explanation but out of 10 this is a 8 if what ur saying is true !
This video was atrocious to follow along to. It seemed like you were watching a tutorial while you were building as well. There were so many pauses, things being changed, and steps being skipped. I’m doing this in survival and having to keep moving blocks was annoying. The most annoying part of the video though was the block list you gave the numbers were EXTREMELY inaccurate! I had extra blocks that I didn’t need or things I had to make that were extra. Please improve this video
Thank you so much for a second pirate ship. I was looking at the first pirate ship you made a couple months back, and I collected the materials without watching the hard tutorial. Thank you for making an easier one
This is a great tutorial! I had a bit of trouble with knowing how much of what material I needed, but otherwise really good. I'm not quite done yet though, I'm at the beginning of 'make the sails with wool' and you say to have 8 blocks in between the beams but when I see how many layers of wool you put, there's 9. I have recounted 3 time just to make sure and am currently pretty frustrated.
bro he did all the work for you showing how to build this. chill out since you clearly couldn't do better since you needed a guide for one @@nathangillen737
The shaders confuse me on what block to use and also he lacks on some detail but it is definitely worth the wait and the pausing and I absolutely love love love the boat and the details.
hi. the blocks you place don't look like the ones that u told us they were, the trapdoors aren't spruce, they are oak. the underwater "spruce" blocks look like birch blocks, and most of the ship looks like oak not spruce. And which shaders are they, because shaders can ruin some blocks look (edit) nice white wool btw
At around 9:00 you missed where you fill in the stairs on the sides, also, not all the materials are stated, such as the interior. Other than great tutorial, just a bit messy at times
So simple, yet so detailed. We need more builders like you. I don't like when they build tiny and ugly stuff (ships for ex) or gigantic ones that you can't even see the end. This is what I have been looking for, thanks and keep up the good work
Yeah there were some steps not explained and some mistakes but still easy to follow, also lost my sh*t when the squid started clipping through the boat towards the end lmao
Nice build by all means I just built it on my survival but you skip through parts of the building just little things like the slabs under the Cannon on the out side of the ship was skipped had to figure it out later in the video when he was placing vines and the posts for the sails was 17 18 16 which he said was 16 18 16 just annoying but great build
Honestly you hit the spot with that. It was a great build, but some parts of the tutorial were fucked up, it was oak trapdoors not spruce in the items list, and the sails were wrong, and he skipped over some spots, and went to slow in others.
I dont trust tutorials so I always count how many blocks they place down 😂 as soon as it was like: "ThE hEiGht of ThE FiRsT MaSt Is 16 BloCkS 🤠" I was like: no sir it isnt :'D
So much fails and errors. You forgot items in the list named items wrong and gave wrong information specially at the sails: wrong space between, wrong high and so on..... it was so hard to rebuild. With the shader it was nearly impossible to see what you do.... Please next time control the tutorial before you set it online
Hey! I'm almost finished with this tutorial. It's been relatively easy to follow and looks GREAT in my world! Thanks so much for the tutorial, I'll be sure to credit you on the build :)
What a great addition to my mini fleet, so far I have three, a small ship, a ship wreck house, and a medium cargo ship, this will be a perfect build for me
this build is good but please for the love of god turn off any type of texture pack you have on. I can't tell which blocks are which sometimes and when you face the sun it's impossible to see anything because of the lens flare.
hi. as much as i absolutely love this tutorial, i'm less than 19 minutes in and already getting annoyed how this very video lacks key informations, i. e. placing certain blocks (because you did miss step of filling a layer); placing different blocks, hanging there for a moment and replacing it with different block (that is something i can understand, however, i think you did not consider the fact that survival players will have a slightly harder time using resources similar to yours, only to replace it with different block- it's a bit of waste of time and in the video it can be easily cut out)
Yes, there was such a mistake. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to avoid such mistakes. But I try not to do this in new videos. You can view more recent videos on the construction of the ship
So far this has been very easy to follow, and I love the design of the ship. If you could turn off shaders it would be even easier to follow, as I had trouble figuring out which woods you were using in some parts, still a great tutorial.
I love this build! It’s perfect for my city! Although I had to remake it like 5 or 6 times because I didn’t know how big it was. I thought building it at my harbor would be cool, but it would be nice to have dimensions.
Very pretty build, and i am using it as the starter shop for my pirate theme. My Only complaint would be to actually say what height those masts are, as i wound up having to go back and pause so many times to try and work them out. Overall though its a very nice looking build (Slightly challenging in survival though :) )
I translated your comment so people can read it, (with Google translate) I like your builds very much, you have fantastic builds, you are the king-men. Can you show me a few more castle constructions? Thats what he sais
this guide was very bad, the pace of the bulding is way to slow and you skipped when you placed slabs between the stairs on the 5th layer. The material list gave the wrong info so I didn't have the right blocks... you are also having these pauses where you regret what block you used then changning it
Great video and a awesome build! My only complaints is that so many things are left out. And many mistakes you’ve made you didn’t show us what they were so we had to figure it out ourselves, frustrating.
this tutorial is so hard to follow, lack of information, wrong building supplies, lack of information, vanilla blocks look different with your shaders, did i mention lack of information. cmon dude, your design is cool, make it easy to replicate. you can do better.
Omg thanks i was playing on a minecraft server and my empire was named Monkey Pirates or Adventuring Monkeys and our main way to travel was a ship and i tried to build a good pirate ship for so long and didnt manage to make it but this awesome tutorial helped alot!
So on a minecraft server I’m in, a war started and I’ve become one of the main targets. the owner proceeded to yeet me over 100000 blocks away from spawn for some reason, into the middle of the ocean. Thanks to this tutorial, I now have a pirate army, and a place to live.
@@scrim9290 happy its simple for u when he gets in the shadows like every five mins and is blocking what he’s doing half of the time 😌👌 love that for u
Awesome ship build. I think you forget a couple parts where you add in blocks like the dark oak stairs set under the cannons so it affects the count needed. There were a couple other times, but luckily you fly over it often so we can see the changes. It's a great build that I can't wait to make too! Thank you for this!
@@Stevler every spruce house or cabin you made gave me a vibe that I am watching a real estate show where I asked for cosy home and the dealer showed your house that's enough to take you further in youtuber game waiting for 1 million
I am looking for a airship for my skyblock map. I was a bit bored because the cabins where not that cool. So i decided to make a ship and put big ballon over it, this one will be perfect! 👌
even though this is a great build and your tutorial is good you take very long with placing certain block and one other thing is that if u build one side of the boat hull then you don't need to show the other side because they are the same only show if it is different for the rest is this a great tutorial
Great tutorial but I was just wondering how high up on the masts where it would go out to the side how many blocks high up do I go? Other than that everything else was great?
his shaders pack makes dark oak look like spurse, spurse look like oak and oak look like birch , this made me have to go back after finishing the hull :(
this is probably me being a nit pick but for the future if you do more boats maybe put every number measurement for the masts cause ya only say how tall to make them but not how far to make the beams from the floor up- or from the top down. again might just me being stupid but when i remade it the entire sail was off and i didn't know till later in the video-
А сколько отступать плоков когда ты делаешь паруса ( столбы ) Просто написано только про высоту столба и еще написано сколько надо поставить поперек а сколько отступать нету :(.
