I actually built it, and getting the materials was harder than building the pagoda itself. It's a REALLY good tutorial, looks cool, and not so complicated.
Please keep doing Japanese and other East Asian style builds! They’re amazing and you are truly the best at it! I had built a pagoda looking at the older build video from sheep, and that pagoda build had the same layers and so i used world edit and it worked perfectly. But one thing to be cautious about is to see that the version of minecraft and worldedit (or whichever mod you use) is fairly new, because as I've seen, the copy paste doesn't properly work on the trapdoor, stairs and other stuff on older versions, so stuff like upside down stairs or slabs placement won't get copied, and end up being default stairs, slabs on the bottom half of the block, fence gates turned in the wrong direction etc
@@SolidSoda I used the structure block to copy paste the old one and I noticed that too, sometimes trap doors and stuff would not be in the correct position and I had no idea what was happening.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. I just built it and it's awesome. I put it on a hill overlooking a bay with 2 cherry wood houses and a cherry wood mansion! It's just perfect!
The construction itself was quite simple, and the tutorial was very comprehensive and good, but the construction took me a lot of time, even if I build creatively. I also changed the resources from cherry to a darker wood, and the roof from prism bricks. It turned out very cool and excellent. Thank you for the tutorial😊
I love japan and these japanese builds i built the other one from your video 3 years ago in bedrock when i finally have a better pc i will build the same and others in a modded world
I actually just tried to make a cherry blossom pagoda the other day this video could not have come at a better time, because guess what…i failed miserably💀 i will try to take inspiration from this build and try again!

pretty simple tbh you repeat the same step after the entrance is done, you build 4-5 balconies until the top (i suck at explaing but it rlly is simple for those who assume because of the design)
i found an awesome seed that has 2 biomes combined which are cherry and ice spike so i built this in the cherry and the other one you made 3 years ago or so for the ice spike and it was awesome

built 6 small 9x9 japanese style houses for my villager fletchers to live in to trade with, i am going to build this and use it as a trading hall, all in survival
Anybody that has trouble following even though it is at a leisurely pace, I always put my playback speed at 0.25x so I can make sure I absolutely got the details. I have mad adhd so it helps
