The sad thing is that this is actually true. In bedrock you have to pay irl money to get mine coins which are required for upgrades in a lot of servers not to mention that you actually have to pay for most skins. It is a sad reality that most Java players like me will never experience but with there being parity between windows and java I hope that most players realize this issue and do something about it.

Imagine if minecraft had preset money system. Would give people more purpose to play minecraft. Like grinding to buy things like tools or blocks and food if you don't have time to go kill animals or if they're scarce. I started my map and it's a lot like that. I have a sell shop, buy shop, casino chance to win/lose more money, a bank to deposit/trade your wood, iron, gold, diamond for actual money points. I use scoreboard and it has made my minecraft 10x more fun!
