Minecraft: Large Wooden House Tutorial | Survival House Design 

made this and it looked great until it got struck by lightning and burned down

Just built this in survival. There were a couple of things that were short on the materials list like clay pots and oak stairs. But overall an easy guide to follow! Thank you. I love it so much.

This was amazing to follow. Granted, it did take 2 real life days to complete. All in survival, so I changed the lecturns for wooden fences. Still has that depth look to it. Thanks for a great, easy to follow tutorial 👍

I built this and I made a few changes technically I swapped the lectern for fences the stripped logs for stone and that's it but it still looks great

I'm gonna be building this once I get all of the materials needed but I'm contemplating using terracotta in place of the oak planks and then using oak for the spruce since there is no spruce in sight at all for my survival world

it got burned down by a griefer in a realms server. But it was good while it lasted, thanks Lex for this design

I suggest yall if you want to build this and worried about lightning, either replace all of the roof with stone or any unflammable blocks or place lightning rods on your house, you can do both and yet they'll look nice 👍

Tip: use lightning rod in top. Its make your house safe from lightning strikes. Thank me Later

I like your idea and it looks nice and I made this and made modifications to it. Your ceiling height is way too high, which makes his house look huge for what it is.

Good build, loved the arches. Only things are I don’t understand the lectures as fences and the signs around the lanterns. Personal taste tho

Front side looks good but the back and the left side dont. Amazing build tho 👌

I recently built this in my survival world. The front is cute but overall not a great house. I had high expectations but was very disappointed. Every side but the front is flat and boring. I had to improvise and add changes myself. The proportions are not good as it is very wide but has no depth. There were multiple mistakes with the amount of materials needed which was inconvenient as I was building it in survival. I find it wastes lots of wood that you could substitute for planks or cobble and it would still look good. I also think that this house does not fit the title of 'survival house'. The design does not make good use of all the materials, lots of stone and wood that is placed ends up completely out of sight which I consider wasteful. The birds eye veiw layout in the beginning was helpful but adding measurements would have made it easier so the veiwer doesn't have to count each square themselves. I was very frustrated while building this. The idea is good but it needs some developing to really polish it and make it efficient for survival.

Does anyone know if the maker of this game is updating the PlayStation 4 version? The reason why I ask, I used to be able to make glass now I can’t it’s not even listed so therefore I can’t even tint any glass. I know how to make it out of sand, but it’s not allowing me to do it. I can’t even make any potion because none of the potions are even listed anymore. There was a time there was always updates and it seemed like the updates screwed it all up.
