Though I would say that it is a good game, I do wish that it ran a bit smoother on switch. You may not remember, on one of your other vids,( I think the one about Is Minecraft on Nintendo Switch worth it in 2023) we had an interesting 'comment conversation' on transferring worlds from PS4 to switch. In April, I actually did end up getting a Switch Oled, and have been loving it. So far I have Splatoon 3, Mario Kart 8 deluxe, Minecraft and some free digital games such as rocket league and fall guys. The Switch online stuff is cool to. This is a really good video. Keep up the hard work! :) Also, the way ended up playing Mc legends was on a friend's switch.
Yes, I do remember! Happy to see you around again 😄 Did the world transfer end up working? As a commenter on one of my other videos best worded it: "Minecraft Legends is a good game executed poorly." I like it for what it is, but I think it could've been so much more if they had released it later and with more content. I'm glad to hear you got an OLED Switch btw, those look so nice and shiny 😁
@@smallthoughts_nl Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to transfer the worlds. But I’m actually happy about that, because it has allowed me to make new memories, but in a new, fresh way! I look forward to more of your videos!
It's good, but not worth the set price. I have only played on PC though There isn't too much to do, but it's very pretty. Reminds me of Pikmin. It's a memorable experience, but I didn't find myself playing the game too often.
At the “Weirdest Problem”, I had the same issue as I was always teleported back, it took way too long to load terrain, entire buildings and walls be destroyed randomly when I entered villages during raids, and game just crashing randomly.
Absolutely had to watch this review after your fantastic video on the first hour experience problem. You’re an incredibly talented filmmaker, I’m confident your channel will snowball soon ^^
I like the idea of a Minecraft Dungeons video! Although it's been too long since I last played it, so I don't have a strong opinion on it at the moment. But I'll definitely set it on the list for another time
I had so much lag. There were many errors in loading that never resolved, so I was stuck in an area that would send me back to the middle if I moved. My first three saves corrupted. I experienced so many crashes in single-player that lost me so much progress. I got soft-locked in many ways.
Lag is something of note in the base single-player Minecraft as well. It's a very rare bug, but it could have been possible to completely stop the game's logic (aka "ticks"). The effects of this do, indeed, feel a lot like online connection problem, except it sometimes can't be fixed without re-entering the world. The reason behind this might be the game engine calculating game logic and graphics in a completely separate threads. It's a pretty unique approach to optimization. I think without it, in Minecraft Legends, there would just be even more FPS drops in place of lags.
@@smallthoughts_nl you choose... I would like something that's independent of the platform... like video essays on specific games but not just from the perspective of a Nintendo player... Even if you make console based videos... Try including other consoles and PCs also... Btw, It's Just a Personal Opinion... These are what I would love to watch
Sure, that's a good suggestion! I do mainly focus on Nintendo, but there are a few videos planned with games exclusively on Steam. It's good to know there is interest for those, too. I definitely want to look at Eco sometime soon for example
