The Skulk stuff got a lot creepier after finding out that they grow if something dies near them. Like they straight up went from “Hi, I’m a Skulk Sensor and I can help you with redstone!” to “What you call a massacre, I call a banquet.”

This was the first Live I ever watched, I watched it with my brother and it was AMAZING! The set, the voting, the hints, the announcements… ✨

Ok I was initially disappointed that the Deep Dark was delayed but that feeling quickly dissipated once I saw the gameplay. Now I'm glad they're delaying because I'm loving how they expanded the biome and the Warden. It's much more interesting both in gameplay aspect and visuals. I also really like what I saw in the Wild Update.

Just to clarify that this update is poorly advertised because instead of naming a Wild Update, they should name it as Cave and Cliff Part III. Even we has a Warden, but it still not very ‘wild’ enough.

I’m really happy that the first biome that is getting added from the biome votes that wasn’t picked was the swamp! I really loved the swamp biome idea last year and was sad it wasn’t picked.

I love that they're focusing on more core aspects like generation and atmosphere to make the game feel cohesive and complete instead of just adding random features and mobs. This update is all about making adventuring more interesting on a more basic level, and the next will make some more interesting biomes that feel special, showing up from time to time.

To be honest my favourite part was the intro, the animation and audio track was spot on.

Bit disappointed the Warden & Deep Dark are delayed even further, but it’ll be worth it! Those Deep Dark cities and all the new sculk mechanics are incredible! Nice work Mojang!

I love how 1.18 is all about grand scale and giant things like mountains while 1.19 will be about immersing you in small moment to moment biomes and making you feel at home in these environments

for clarification: azalea is not intended to be a tree. its a plant. first the azalea tree is a sign that theres lush caves underground. and azalea tree is from flowering azalea(for item purposes) because azalea trees spawns naturally, no stages from flowering azalea to trees. and flowering azaleas is naturally spawn in lush caves. and that means that azalea trees shouldn't have any wood, and besides in real life different tree have same woods 🤔 share this for comment so does the other people know the reason why theres no azalea trees.

Ancient Chests would look cool that way it fits the aesthetic. Same with Nether Fortresses and other things. It would really just be a texture thing. I can't imagine that they would get any abilities. Except maybe like a sand/dirt chest disappearing after use or requiring a silk touch item to pick up. I'm really excited for Caves and Cliffs and the Deep Dark

I am glad they are doing a wild update. I have always found the forests to be bland and feel unnatural. The swamp concept art was beautiful

Oktober Ebenso spricht für einen etwas späteren Termin (wie letztes Jahr), das viele (wie ich) keine Concept-Arts mehr akzeptieren werden - ich erwarte minimum eine kleine Gameplay Sequenz... Aber am Ende weiß nur Mojang, wann die diesjährige Minecraft Live stattfindet

I can't, that's so cuteeee It's from a video of a youtuber introducing his non gamer gf to video games and documenting her progress, that was her comment about minecraft 🥺🥺🥺 it really does encapsulate the core vision of minecraft, it makes me so happy to know the team has seen that video ❤️

I was disappointed when they announced early on without further detail that the Deep Dark was delayed, but when they showed footage later.... holy ... well worth waiting some more for. Truly incredible, a new highlight of the game.

Agnes looks a lot less stressed this time around (still super tired) but it really shows how impressive mojang and the community are.

I never actually got to vote but at the time (it is 2022 now) I liked the glare just because it is green. But now come to think of it, it would've been cool to have the copper golem in minecraft

The Deep Dark is terrifying, I can't wait! An idea for fogs could be for them to drop a potion ingredient to make a frog master potion, to increase speed in water and jump boost on land. An idea for fireflies could be fireflies in a lantern so it creates not a fixed light, but a flickering light for a better atmosphere.

We absolutely need a tree frog variant for the jungle, being unique in the fact that it could climb trees

I think Mojang should also focus on parity of features between bedrock and java. (such as Hardcore Mode, advanced terrain features/customizations, more world types, F3 screen, better Redstone, more graphic options, more keyboard shortcuts and spectator mode)

Seeing the bigger and better mountains reminded me of the extreme terrain of the older versions and I’m excited to see more than just rolling hills and average mountains. Some of the old base designs can be brought back! Thanks Mojang!

I like that they’re bringing the swamp back. Maybe after one or two updates they’ll bring the Savanna back. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also wonder if you’ll be able to catch and move fireflies, maybe in glass bottles or new jars? The possibilities! Only time can tell.

I knew they did not forget the last biome vote of 2019, people voted for swamps but we didn't get it so i'm happy they did not forget.

not gonna lie, at 50:04 I got chills, because something about that mountain range reminded me of the sense of adventure I had when I first played minecraft. seeing such cool and vast generation is just amazing, and anything that helps capture that "new to minecraft feeling" that new players felt is amazing

It is amazing how Minecraft evolved over the years. I remember when 1.0 came out in 2011. I played it back ten in my cousin's house. I wanted to build a glass house back then. This is inspiring. We usually don't realize that there are real people behind Minecraft - programmers, testers, directors and many more. We should sometimes stop and appriaciate everyone that made not only Mineraft but other amazing games. Thank you for all those years of memories!
