Hey everyone ill be making more tutorials this summer about how you can improve your building:)

I have to say this is one of the most unique and colourful builds in minecraft, and in a way it makes me sad because this style of building has just died out along with half of the minecraft building community. You just don't see this much and it's a shame, congrats thatoldkid on making one of the most impressive builds in minecraft :D also you should upload more, doesn't have to be a huge megabuild just some things to keep in touch with your audience :)

If there's ever a way to beat Minecraft, I think you've done it. This is beautiful.

Almost 8 years later and this is still my favorite build in Minecraft. I would love to see a new video with modern shaders and maybe even some texture swaps with some of the new blocks since 2013.

I've been searching for this video for years. 8 years ago this was THE VIDEO that pushed me to start building in minecraft, and i still do. This is history.

9 years and I still come back to this video, it's such an amazing build. What you managed to achieve with the limited amount of blocks available back then truly beats anything build today in my book

This is something truly spectacular, a real peace of art and proof games aren't good or bad, but what you make of them. The fact this was made by one person in the same place young kids lose entire weeks just playing simple tactical games on random servers serves to prove that Minecraft is still capable of doing wonderful things. I have seen a lot of mega structures in Minecraft and made a few myself, but hands down to you. This is by far one of the best mega structures I have ever seen. The way you add so much detail without overdoing it is truly impressive, 10/10.

+Thatoldkid every time I watch this I see some new structure or shape I hadnt noticed before. The curves and colours with the shades blend beautifully and the gardens are just amazing. I have watched this about 10 times over the last 6months and it is still and endless source of inspiration for any builds I want to do

I just found this map I downloaded back then with my other old maps and 1. I finally can load this hole thing without my PC crashing or lagging, but it takes around 5 min to get all the chunks 2. this is still the embodyment of Megabuilds and I love the style of lighting 3. I got so many Minecraft flashbacks by just roaming your map 4. ended up with the violent urge to watch this awesome video again. not disappointed.

This build inspired me to play minecraft more many years ago, still my favorite megabuild I've seen to this day.

I come back here every now and then to witness just how amazing minecraft builds can get

I will say, That old kid, you must have a lot of patience. 6 months.... damn... I have made things that took 1 month... and after that I was done. skill level, pretty good, looks like the same as mine. But the freaking patience level... that is over 9000 my friend, xD

this is the best minecraft mega build of all the mega builds out there. It´s good that only one person created this because i think design teams are crap. The colors of you build are so amazing i freaking love that cobination of dark blue, light blue, white and sea green.

This is the BEST build I have seen for a long time and it can compete against other big groups. This kind of build is so unique from the colours to the details and the actual thing. It blows my mind. I've never really been a Minecraft fan, and holy crap this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It's amazing to see how much work goes into these things, and how it pays off in the long run. I'm sure you're really happy with this, and you definitely should be. The music suited it so well, really inspiring. Absolutely epic :D
