So your saying that 1 netherite block weighs a bit more than 4 gold gold blocks. I did the math, included the recipes, and even took into consideration what should happen once the gold combines with netherite scrap, and I can confirm this statement. Here's the math if you want to see how I did it. Don't worry, it's very simple as it just uses numbers from the recipes in the actual game so its not confusing, easy to understand, and, as an advanced 8th grader whos had nothing but advanced classes in middle school, can confirm, that it is MUCH less harder to understand than even advanced 6th grade math, let alone normal 6th grade math. So here it is: 1 netherite ingot is 4 gold. Take that 4 and multiply it by 9 (9 ingots make 1 block). You should have 36. Since 1 netherite ingot is 4 gold, and 9 * 4 = 36, then that would make netherite blocks at least 4 times heavier, as it should theoretically have 4 times the gold in it. The reason I'm saying its at _least_ 4 times heavier is because a block of netherite could _potentially_ be _even heavier_ if a netherite scrap is a heavy material, which it might because it seems like netherite has similar properties to steel or some kind of metal, and because both the weight of the gold _and_ weight of the scrap should be at least somewhat combined when they are fused together, it should add at least a little bit more weight to the total. So yes, you are right, a netherite block should weigh about 4 times as much than a gold block. I rest my case.

There's probably a lot of things wrong about this (the answer that it is at least 4x heavier is still technically true though) because technically a netherite ingot it about half the weight of a gold block because there are 4/9 gold ingots being used for the netherite, even if the scrap is weightless, which means it can be MUCH heavier (some research shown that a netherite block is about 77.2 tons) but I'm too lazy to remake the whole comment
