I personally believe Mojang wanted to add something with the vibes of a Lynel. Lynels are enemies in The Legend of Zelda series that, at least in Breath of the Wild, are harder to defeat than some of the bosses in the game, like Hinox and Stone Talus and, oh, I dunno, the final boss of BotW, Calamity Ganon himself. They're tanky, they do a lot of damage and they're fast (they're centaurs, so they have the speed of a horse). The Warden is Minecraft's Lynel.

New mobs texture forever. As 2019 minecraft player I like the 2019 Zombie Pigman texture more than the 2010. Who remember the Zombie Pigman with the new texture in 2019. I grew up with the new texture.

fun fact : You can find zombie pigmans in Earlier when they are added or 1.15 or 1.15.0 (Bedrock) or 2020 Snapshots before they were changed
