Hi jasper! Im sorry for not replying sooner, but a great alternative is to use barrels in place of the trapdoors - they have a similar texture and do double duty as storage 😸Hope this helps and happy building 🌷

I have a question, at 14:50 you put ladders on the trap doors but I play on bedrock so I can't place ladders on the trap doors so what should I do? If anyone could help me out I would deeply appreciate it thx and have a good day 😊
Heya Yuki, sorry for taking a little while to get back to you, the holiday season can be crazy busy thats for sure! That's a good question, I would say the best substitutes would be to either place blocks for the ladders to go on, or since this is quite a magical build, you could go with the whimsical option of using a twisting vine, or hanging some vines down from the roof of the floor above Hope this helps and happy building! 🌷😸

Hi there Lils, there are a couple reasons you could be having trouble with the ladders on trapdoors but there is a solution for sure 😊 If you are on bedrock, unfortunately ladders cannot be placed on the trapdoors, so if this is the case you could with the whimsical option of using a twisting vine, or hanging some vines down from the roof of the floor above If you are on java and cant placed the ladders, double check you have the trapdoor on the right block - to do this, you should be able to place a block right next to the trapdoor face you want to place the ladder on. If it sits out from the trapdoor, you just need to move the trapdoor over a block Hope this helps and happy building! 💐
Hi there janani, in my build there was 125 stone bricks and 96 mossy stone bricks. Since everyone randomizes a bit differently you wanna aim for around this but if you have a bit more of one or the other thats totally fine 😊 Hope this helps and happy building!
Aw yes sometimes there are some frustrating differences between Java and other versions of Minecraft!
