The Captain got it lucky with how old his dad was when he was born because it took much longer for him to reach the point where he is older than his dad was. My mom was less than a month from turning 19 when I born, so I only have a year left before I get to the age she was when she had me, and my dad was 21, so I only have 3 years left before I'm as old as he was when I was born.

Captain: "I'm turning 30 soon." Me: Turning 34 soon. And I totally feel you on the dad thing Captain. I have had the thought of "Jeez. By my age my father had a 1 year old (me) and a 4 year old (my brother) about to enter kindergarten." Then I remind myself that my wife and I don't want kids yet and have taken the necessary steps to make sure that when we choose to have a child they have the best odds of being born healthy. And I also remember I have friends my age with kids about to enter high school and they've spent the last 14 or so years of their life raising kids whereas my wife and I have spent the last 5 years of our lives travelling the world (sans pandemic), building our dream home, building our vacation home, and building our parents homes they can retire to without worrying about a mortgage. It reminds me that my wife and I choosing to work on building our relationship and our wealth as opposed to racing to build a family was the right choice.

Lesson learned. In a Death Swap, either Tubbo kills you, or you live long enough for Tubbo to get himself killed. xD
