One thing to keep in mind - nether portals that are within 120 blocks of another portal will teleport to the same nether portal in the nether as the other portal in the over world
Using a boat on packed or blue ice in the nether really takes this tip to the next level. My buddies base on our server is over 1200 blocks away and the walk is a pain, but the trip on our ice bridge through the nether takes about 10 seconds. I call it the bi-frost
Use glass to locate enemies. The ghast: *this place about to blow* 🎵 update: since i'm still getting comments about mobs not being able to ee though glass after months, I'm aware now :)
Fr im playin on bedrock, ik java is better, just cant afford And when ever u spawn in 1.20 there just spawns at least two Ghast with u that make it impossible to do anything, then when u finally ran away u dont know where the portal is, because u had to run so much until the ghasts weren‘t interested anymore 😂😂
@@219_VAZlucky at least you escaped😂 the first time in my world i went i got in the soul sand valley and got a ghast that killed me as soon a i entered (the time i was seeing purple from the portal i was already burning ) and i also play on bedrock
Hey, don't make highways, go up into the nether roof, so your middle coordinate is 114 and you'll never have an issue other than lava pockets, and occasionally piglins and hoglins
Fun fact: I learnt that on bedrock (don't know if it works on Java) warped planks are immune to ghast fire ball explosions, probably crimson wood as well
Step 1 - make sure you get a good place in nether Me whose nether portal in the main survival world takes the player to a place surrounded by lava and fire- :'-(
@@tyrannuslapis5107yeah I've got one in the ocean off my main island that im going to work on today for my first trip to the nether haha and I'm only playing the pc trial version hahaha last night I found a massive geode looking room filled with obsidian. Ocean portal only needed 2 blocks to finish but I've got 32 hahaha
It is a better idea to build your portal and highways in the ceiling and use blue ice and boats to move without the worry of ghosts and other mobs attacking you
Finally, someone else who thought of this... after months of building stupid little half slab bridges in the Nether in peaceful mode because ghasts kept blasting me off. There are still risks building a high way right beneath the bedrock nether roof, but the risk is so much lower than bridging over a lava lake while ghasts shoot fire balls at you... WHY are there no channels that recommend this
I can’t build on the roof in Bedrock, so I just make tunnels right below the bedrock. Basically 0 chance of not having blocks below you and you can just insta mine to your location
Not really (from Google): If something is flammable it means it can be set fire to, such as a piece of wood. However, inflammable means that a substance is capable of bursting into flames without the need for any ignition. Unstable liquid chemicals and certain types of fuel fall into this category. The opposite of both words is non-flammable.
Thank you so much man. I've got a Nether portal near my base, and this is basically what I have been looking for to prepare me for the Nether. Shut up and take my like
Pro tip, make your nether highway in the ceiling at about 120, less mobs to deal with at that point. And you can just dig out the material instead of needing a bunch of materials. Once done just add packed ice.
Why would you build a nether mine cart track? That takes ages and ages to build the actual track then to actually make it safe, compared to just getting an elytra and some fireworks from a small but powerful couple of farms and just getting on the nether roof
People who only use tutorials to play Minecraft make these elaborate bridges, not OGs - people who make straight single row netherrack bridges and madly sprint to the other side and don't get knocked off💪
God Mode MC Tip 1 -Build a train system thru the Nether 2- Build more Nether Portals to the over world from the Nether 3 - Grow overworld Trees in the Nether 4 - Grow a Chicken Farm 5 - Grow Carrots & Wheat 6 - Bring as many Iron Golems as you wish
This is how I imagine the Fortresses, being it. When they were first built, but all of the negative and soul energy turned all the bricks red and made Some of it crumbled down into the lava.
Wow this really helped after I died today because my game lags and takes forever to load but I can still take damage and i lose all my diamond gear and lost it. So helpful
I have a really successful miencraft world on my switch. And created one 2 bases 3000 blocks apart. And I created a nether highway using rails and its so cool.
*me watching this for the first time while having an unguarded nether portal for the past 2 years in my 2 year old world and hearing the first statement* oh that's a good idea
Or go at the nether roof, not on it but about 2-3 blocks below it and mine in the direction you want to go and place a portal by mining blocks anywhere you want to. You can also build a railway track there
I'm on a server with some friends and for the nether highway i built a piston bolt network lmfao. It's actually incredible, I've never done it before but it was so worth it
I make this cool like portal and area themed around it and when you enter the portal you exit into a new area of my world. So far I got my island base with a tiny nether island near it with a portal inside the island. Which takes you to a giant skeletal grave yard. If you go to a nearby strider nest I made near it you can find a nether portal in a hall way like thing that takes you to a mine.
Its smarter going to the top, a few blocks down of the first bedrock layer, that way you only going to break easy some netherrack to make your portals zone and don't being exposed to the ghasts and another mobs all the time, and you stay close to the roof of the nether so you can break that bedrock block in top of your first portal, make another portal in top of the bedrock and now you have all the roof of the nether spawnproofed and ready to use as you wish.
did something like this in a realm with the bois We made our own rail system through the nether which not only made it easier for traversing purposes but we never really had to worry about ghasts shooting at us considering how fast we were moving
While a ghast cannot see through glass I would advise on adding a door because it only takes one ghast to see you through that opening and your whole place blows up just believe it or not Cobblestone and glass can still blow up to ghast attacks it's not bedrock lol and also if you're going to do the bridge Highway idea you should Dome off the bridge because again it only take one ghast to blow up your bridge
