I remember when this video just came out. It was amazing. This is without repeaters people. Just bask in the amazingness.

Oh man, this is great. This feels like it was before my time (I started playing about 2 years after this was made), but when I started playing I was closer temporally to this than I was to today. God, I can't believe it's been 9 years. I want to cry.

this is stupidly amazing for the materials you had to work with. this is one of the most amazing things i have heard considering the limitations of the game you are playing with.... you are amaxing and thanks for making this

OOOHHH MYYY GODDD!!! MINECRAFT BETA!!! I MISS YOU!!! AND THIS WAS MADE ON THE FIRST VERSION OF MC I PLAYED!!! I still remember, there were no repeaters, no tallgrass, no enderdragons, no end portals, no ravines... no sprinting... the "Ooof" sound instead of a leg breaking... dispensers with a face more like >:O instead of :O... there was no rain, you couldn't make infinite worlds, only 3... watervators! Oh god i miss these so much :( we can't make watervators anymore, stairs couldn't get a "corner side", instead we used slabs, you could get wool from the sheep by punching it... fire was infinite, it couldn't put out by itself, cows only dropped leather, zombies dropping feathers... zombie pigmans dropping cooked porkchops (before steak they had the same texture of the steak from newer versions), there was the danger of the portal getting you really far away from home if you try to get back to the house with one of them, apples weren't renewable, much less the gapples, there was no bed, there was no wolf... no cats / ocelots, no mob AI, zombies couldn't use armor... cow sounds were different, dirt sound was different, opening and closing a door's sounds were different... good times in BETA MC...

That cow, made the video much more pure than it already was. What an amazing invention it was, all those years back. Hearing the classic cow sound, how they just always have happened. Just because it was so simple, really creates the nostalgia for me.
