Thanks a lot. I also really enjoy the controllable mod, feels great to kick back in in bed and play this with a wireless Xbox controller. I wish Minecraft: Java edition had native controller support. Also really appreciate the tutorial! I also like the content in Java edition more than the bedrock for sure :P this is the kind of Minecraft I wanna be playing with my partner.
As a first time modder with not a lot of computer knowledge, this took 3 DAYS. I ran into so many issues that your average modder likely would not run into. That being said, if you're like me, reddit is your best friend.
For Win 11, it keeps lagging on the window thats not active. HOWEVER when i actually pressed the "END" button on the keyboard its like the computer was able to totally dedicate the processes to the java windows without any lag.. so I think thats why so many others have that same problem. DONT FORGET TO PRESS "END" AFTER YOURE ALL CONFIGURED FOR THE CONTROLLERS.. (at least in my case). Hope this helps someone..

why when I play split screen on most nucleus coop supported games one of them is fine and the other is just 2fps and when I press windows key (they get out of focus) they become fine while I can't play please help
Hello, I'm using nucleus Co-op v2.1.2, MultiMC 5 - Version 0.7.0-3863 on win32 - MultiMC 5, and Minecraft version 1.20.6. I'm not using any mods at all as I have two keyboards and two mice. I have two monitors so I put one instance on the left monitor, one on the right monitor. After pressing END to lock each cursor to each screen, looking around is not a smooth movement sometimes. Its as if my sensitivity is sometimes dropping so that I need to move my mouse a ton to get somewhere, but then it sometimes speeds back up to normal. When this occurs my FPS is at a stable 120 so I don't think I am experiencing any lag. I recorded a video of this, but not sure where to upload it so I could do that if someone wanted and the above description was not clear. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone have any ideas? Should I try a different version of minecraft, multimc, or nucleus? EDIT: I tried 1.17.1 and it seems to work better. Except one of the instances doesnt have a visible mouse cursor in the inventory which makes it difficult to craft. Not sure if anyone has hit that or not
I had an issue where on one of the screens the mouse was working but wasnt moving, but I fixed it. I saw a reddit post from someone with the same issue as well as there were commenters with the same issues, on both that reddit post and this video, so hopefully what worked for me worked for you I bought Minecraft yesterday (August 22, 2022) and today I was trying to set up split-screen using this video, i followed the instructions and everything worked, but for one of the screens it moved a little bit when i first loaded into the world then stopped completely, this only happens when I was in minecraft itself (after pressing end), when press escape the mouse works fine but as soon as I unpause that screen by pressing escape again, it doesnt move, i tried this multiple more times in different ways but the end result was the same, sometimes i would notice my cursor (my windows cursor, not the minecraft one) being pulled into the centre of that screen, so i figured that the issue was: whenever you launch minecraft with nucleuscoop and press end, one of the screens (the second one for me) has a bug where the cursor is pulled to the centre of the screen no matter how much you move it and this restricts movement, it ceases to occur when you press escape and go into the settings but starts again when you come out of the settings what worked for me was to launch the instance with the ‘messed up mouse’ first and let them be the host of the LAN world. once both instances were loaded up and their sizes were correct, that is when i pressed end, then used the ‘messed up mouse’ to load a single player world and open it to LAN then on the other screen with the mouse that usually worked fine i joined that world, then everything was fine. Now i can play split-screen with my little sisters and I hope through this potential fix you can play split-screen too. Thanks be to God, through his son.
Whenever I connect 2 ps4 controllers to play with alongside a M/K, only one of the controllers seem to work and respond to input (both controllers work perfectly fine except on pc) and at the same time on the m/k instance, it doesn’t let me look around only attack and move with WASD Any idea of what’s going on?
i am playing with 2 mouses and 2 keyboards with 2 monitors and 1 pc, the cursor becomes invisible on the first screen when i lock input, i tinkered a bit with the minecraft handler script but no results. anyone care to help 😭
Hi IIyaki, I currently have an issue where first of all, my 2 Xbox controllers don't control any of the instances each even after following your steps. Another issue is that Nucleus Co-op crashes after a few minutes, and my mouse doesn't move around if I decide to use keyboard and mouse split screen. If you need an idea of what I want, its simple! I want to play Split-Screen Minecraft with 2 Xbox controllers. Please can someone reply and help me with this luggage full of problems.
Because when running programs from certain places (like for instance Program Files) a Window which asks you for admin privileges can appear, which would be inconvenient and could hinder nucleus from running properly.

for some reason using optifine while running controllable and framework bugs out and crashes during start up. currently using vers 1.20.1, anyone know why?
I can't seem to get 2 controller's to work separate on there for 7 days to die, i tried Xbox one controller's, and wireless 360 that had a cable plugged up to them, is there anyway to get the program to read the 2 separate controller's, and witch kind? if anyone would know

When I go to start my instance it says I need .net framework which already has the latest version downloaded on my computer under the windows folder. Is there any fix for this?
I had a 2 players split screen, mouse & keyboard worked for both screens, the controller worked for both screens, and the screens were not properly adjusted. They were crammed

so since controllable updated to 1.19 i thought of playing it with my friend but when i followed the instruction all i got was "Minecraft 1.18 Pre Release 2 and above require the use of Java 17" Nvm fixed it but now the right screens camera isn't moving well.
This tutorial completely forgoes the fact that you need forge and controllable to use a controller. It says so at the bottom of nucleus when he is setting inputs. Problem is nucleus doesn't recognize the most recent forge which means no controllable. And currently whenever I try to use two m/k set ups it absolutely doesn't lock the inputs to one instance

trying 1.18.1, when i try and launch the game it says “Minecraft 1.18 Pre Release 2 and above require the use of Java 17” Any help? I’ve downloaded java 17 for minecraft 1.18 and still no luck.
