Seems like a great farm, gonna try building it in my structureless superflat and see how things go XD Will update if successful Update: this is literally the best way for me to get glowstone and redstone on my world. Super easy to build and didn’t even take that long or much effort. 9/10 would recommend
I havent tested the farm yet but i just completed it. I love your videos so much, you dont scream like other youtuber, make the tutorials easy and add good nostalgic minecraft music. You are so underrated (update: its works like a charm)
the farm doesnt work cuz the raid literally ends before i get up there and even if it starts like 3-4 pillagers spawn but they stay on the 3x3 platform up there until i manually go kill them
little bit of a late comment but if anyone else has problems with spawning try to give the villager a bit more space and place a bed. couldnt get spawns and as soon as i did this it worked perfectly.
if the farms not working because your only getting one wave set the difficulty to peaceful then make it hard and get bad omen again then it should work fine
If I build this on a superflat world will I have to spawnproof anywhere on the ground? If so then how much? Edit: the raid will start but it doesn't spawn and says raid victory
Ok so if the farm isn't working and it keeps saying victory and no raiders spawn you might want to move the villager further up so it stays within render distance and doesn't disappear. The boats also cause a lot of problems so you might want to get rid of them unless you find a different fix
my friend and i built this in our world exactly as the video but it doesnt work like the title says. it barely gives any thing and is honestly a waste of time to even be at the farm. its also super inconsistent
The raid keeps ending after the first wave for me, is there something I'm doing wrong that might be causing that? The mobs also don't seem to spawn if I stay at the bottom too long
THIS happened to me too, but you are meant to keep falling down and going back up to get the next wave(you can also get hero of village from this)hopefully this helped:)
@@LimeyOneAde Since I have doubts about activating the raid farm for the first time, I need to kill a pillager carrying the banner. Then, I should go up to the bubble elevator and continue killing them. After that, what steps should I take?
I like this design but for some reason I can only do 2 raids and then i have to go back to the outpost. has anyone had this issue or does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks
I followed the tutorial exactly and did everything he did but raids start and instantly say victory. The first wave spawns but no higher level waves do, preventing me from getting any good drops like emeralds and totems , just string and crossbows.
nevermind i got it: FOR THOSE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM: just go up the elevator when the bar is around 3/4 full. when u kill raiders u get bad omen so jump down again to rerun the farm. to stop, just leave and drink some milk to clear bad omen (maybe keep a cow nearby????)
READ THIS IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING MOB SPAWNS At 10:10 he accidentally starts by placing the 3x3 of slabs as bottom slabs. DO NOT DO THIS. Place the slabs as top slabs or just use full blocks. Mobs DON'T spawn on bottom slabs. Hope this helps
@@VSGAMESR You see he started accidentally with a bottom slab? Yeah, he quickly corrected that and used top slab in the video, follow that and make sure the 3x3 shi made of top slabs.
this need more views! I just built this with my friend. 2 of us can gather and completely build this in under 1 hour. And the drop for emerald was insane! With looting 3 sword you can get 9 stack of emerald under 30 minutes!
Interesting way of making the mobs fall down - just letting them push each other off the platform, with ravagers being unable to leave / die. Excellent design! But make sure to make the wall around the spawning platform 1 block taller than in the video - I had a ravager fall out and into the ocean, preventing the raid from ending.
In the video he says "build it to Y=205," but then he builds up four instead of five, instead going to Y=204 You should go up 5 anyway, to Y=205, like quoted. Follow what he says, not what he does (in this specific scenario) (Hope this helped clear any confusion)
@@swpernova i put slabs so things couldnt spawn where the boats are but it cause some other issues such as mobs not spawing where i wanted them but it kind of works but not perfect
i have a problem. whenever i go and get the bad omen effect the pillagers spawn in the boat and down in the ocean pls tell me some fix for this problem =)
It was not mentioned that you need to be at least 7 chunks away from any land. So you cannot build this farm in the ocean “anywhere you like”. I did not know this and built the entire thing six chunks from land causing all of the pillagers to spawn on land and not in the farm.
I SEE EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE WITH EVOKERS NOT SPAWNING ETC... I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND I FIXED IT BY PUTTING MY DIFFICULTY FROM EASY TO HARD AND IT STARTED MILKING TOTEMS
I tried this and it isn’t working. The raid starts at the bottom and for some reason more pillagers seem to be spawning where the boats are places. Can any1 help me?
@@jacobyoung8317 i was having this same issue and tried some things that seem to have fixed it. i placed buttons under the bottom layer of boats, and i did another ring of slabs up top above the spawning area connected to the ones placed at 9:53. i initially tried doing a whole slab roof there but then nothing spawned, so i reopened the middle but kept that one slab ring and it seems to have solved the issue. not sure if both things together fixed it or just one or the other, but either way i haven't had the problem since. hopefully this explanation makes sense, i'm not very good at explaining things lol
Every pillager spawn in the boat, copied everything just like you did, got bad omen came back to the farm and the raid started, but every pillager spawned in to the boats and killed me in my hardcore world
I built this in my server and u have lots of totems but i havent told my friend and now he flexes that he has 5 totems but i have 50 and didn't tell him😂

I have build it in 1.20.4 and it works flawlesly, i don't even have to go to the boats, i got the next bad omen just from killing the mobs in the farm its self! i was so scared to build one because i play in hardcore, but omg this farm is perfect. 10/10 dude
FOREWARNING if you’re a new player, don’t use ANY type of wood on this build. He said to use any solid block in the beginning & his description; but you can’t use wood because he wants you to make a pillar of stone with lava & water. After spending an hour preparing, I set the lava & realized everything was burning (I’m new, we don’t realize these tiny details). It’s taken me just an extra 30-45 mins just to try & fix it, I’m only on the soul sand/pre kelp part. Giving up now & gonna use someone else’s schematics now that I’ve learned my lesson.
Bruh, just use use cobble, sooo farmable in the early game with just a bucket of water and lava, and if u have villigers, u could prob make an iron farm for hoppers
I honestly think all those boats are hard to place. I think it would make this farm a little hard to build. No offense. I appreciate you making good farm designs. But I think I will build the modified ianxofour raid farm design.
@@BenjaminKaplan_ i know this is late, but for any others having this problem, you need to either build it in the ocean, (remove the stone from the lava), or spawn proof SO many blocks, (place buttons or half slabs on every single block 128 meters away from the afk spot
just so everyone knows this farm has a high chance of not giving you hero of the village despite finishing the riad. So if you want to use this for that reason use another design. I suggest illmangos
i found a way to fix the pillagers not spawning, after u have “bad omen” u will have to be at y-155 to let the pillager spawn and then wait like 3 second for them to spawn and u can go up to the killing chamber
guys help, they all spawn in the boats and then they "explode" down into the ocean or they spawn in the ocean,. nothing spawns in the top killchamber where the water is. what am i dion wrong
They keep spawning where the boats are or down at the water. Any idea why this could be happening? Could it possibly be that the the ocean floor is shallow? I'm just confused.
This farm maybe easy to build but has many issues. 1. Villager should be exactly bellow spawning platform, or pillagers will spawn next to boats (or not at all), making it break. 2. The pillager collection system breaks often and it's suboptimal. 3. Not Afkable. 4. I see I'm not the only one having issues, and the comment section is surrounded by people in the same situation as me, indicating you'll most def have to troubleshoot as well. Try a automatic farm for less headache. Cheers.
