There is this amazing dimension called the midnight dimension in a mod that looks so beautiful ! To get there, you either need to find the Rift mob, which will naturally spawn in the over world at night. Another method is to find a red mass in the day, that will change into a portal at night. To exit, you will need to find another Rift in the dimension, although you may need to wait for it to be night in the over world. This place is quite hostile so be prepared.
