These kids today in the comments have no idea what life was like when it released. When there was so few blocks and limited space to play…yet so much imagination one could have in the limited space is amazing. Years of playing a single world maxed to its border, or even a infinite world with cities of villagers you created with your friends. Or even a massive amusement park you could go brag about in school because redstone was still not fully understood by streamers. Yet…you’ve created a redstone build and you were so happy that you physically cheered with your friends. Back when it was only LAN games at a sleepover, all nighters to get to the ending. Back when you had to physically get gold and create the nether in the overworld…Back when life was simple and your responsibility was simply…To care for your dog and horse…

I would often sit just like this in the game, safe inside and watching the monsters and bees and animals. I would be waiting for my farm and things to grow, but in reality I just loved listening to it all and feeling the peace, so thank you for this!

This is so calming. It reminds of those peaceful days where the lights behind the curtains were dim, the TV was on and was playing songs, and me and my brother used to play minecraft together. Those were the times. I absolutely adore this. ❤

Every summer, for the past few years, me and my siblings and cousins will make a minecraft world, just for the summer. So many good memories and nostalgia. The anger I felt when someone would blow me up or take my stuff. The sadness I feel when the summer server is over and I am the only one left on the world. We made so many cool bases, and good memories. We made jokes. We yelled. We sometimes would cry because we would laugh so hard. The sounds of my cousin's laugh is like honey to me. I love him so much and his laugh is so easy to listen to. He has this joyusness about him. He is so happy. He loves minecraft. The nicknames we made up. The funny jokes we made. So many people can connect on one simple game. Even me and my best friend. One day I want to join the worlds again and just remember... Remember the laughs we had. How the smiles felt when they lit up our faces. How great a time this was. Wanting to time travel back to those days, when we simply cant. I hope one day me and my siblings and cousins will turn on the xboxes again, and make one final summer world. Video games may be useless to some, but to my family, they hold so many fond memories. I hope they hold a sense of nostalgia for you too. I couldnt imagine my life without video games. I dont think I would have much of one without all these memories to show for it.

One thing that brings so much appeal to Minecraft is all the different things you can do. I've had friends who enjoyed the more exciting parts of Minecraft like making huge redstone contraptions that make my head spin (I had to ask my friend to build me a simple door), exploring everywhere, beating bosses, fighting hordes of monsters, and finding loopholes in servers economies to make massive amounts of money, and building HUGE automatic farming systems. Personally my idea of a good time would be explore a bit, find a cat to be my buddy, find a nice piece of land near water (usually a jungle, little series of islands, or dark oak forest), build a cozy little house or cottage and decorate it with a maximalist style and lots of plants, make a nice big basement to store all my chests out of sight, build a farm and maybe a little barn to craft or cook all my food myself (bread, soups, baked potatoes, carrots, etc), and then over time make myself a nice fishing rod with maxed out enchantments, then after I'm done fishing I feed a few to my cat companion cook the rest of the fish on a campfire. I feel like this is the old soul equivalent in Minecraft but oh well lol

It's been about two years since I played MC,I have been preparing for University entrance exams and once the exams are over I gonna play MC all day.🤤 Yes that is the best treat I can give my self for the hardwork 🙃

Minecraft was simply a game when I was a child, but now it's something more than that. Sitting inside my house in the game, listening to the rain and campfire sound, being surrounded by my cats and dogs, these things give me some peace and happiness after a long day

Whenever I feel really sad, or angry, I just can't calm myself down. It's always the Minecraft music that soothens me and gives me inner peace while a collection of memories run down my mind. Minecraft means so much to me, although i don't play it much.

Man this game was my happy place me and the homies would sit and play for hours building stuff like this and watching stampy cat and others imma need this era back

This reminds me when me and my sister had a small city we built for ourselves, and often roleplayed in. But one day, my brother came along and deleted it all. It upset me, and my sister, her the most actually. But whenever we sit down, and try again to make another city, he just deletes it. This playlist reminded me of that, and grabbed close at my heart strings.

I can't play this game anymore. Hearing the music makes me so sad. I played it a lot as a kid. My dad gave it to me for christmas back in 2012 and I loved it. I got hooked instantly and played the games for hours. After a while I got it on xbox and that allowed me to play with friends online because I didn't have anyone to play with on PC. My dad would come back from work and go to bed, but I'd sneak into the living room to play it. I met a lot of people through minecraft I no longer talk to. Thinking about this makes me feel so regretful. Anyways, I met a girl through a mutual friend and we played together for hours. We would challenge each other and tease each other. It wasn't for a while until I realized I had a crush on her. Every second of talking and chatting to one another was amazing. One day I admitted I had a crush on her and she said she had one on me too. She agreed to being my girlfriend and we starting going out. Turns out she had mental health problems and was suicidal. She would lie or withold information about her self-harming and it drove me mad. I loved her but she would act so nonchalant about it. I got fed up and broke up with her. I couldn't remain friends with her because our relationship had started to affect my mental health too. I miss minecraft, but the memories it brings back are overwhelming. I just had to get this off my chest. I don't talk a lot about how I feel IRL, but this video seemed like a good enough place than any to vent. If you read this and had a similar experience. I hope you feel peace. I'm doing okay, just a little sad every once in a while.

Yeah I think I found my calling. I like to dig cozy caves in mountain sides or build floating fortresses but I don't know what to do with them afterwards, and will keep looking for better nooks to burrow in. Seems like just letting things be as is while recording a long clip is the way to go. Now all I need to do is to design a better interior lol (I have zero aesthetic sense but I love other people's designs).

Minecraft is so nostalgic.

I remember when I first got the game. My grandma bought GTA 5 in france before moving in my home country. My father tried it and immediately confiscated it bcuz of too much swearing and after sometime he got it changed for minecraft and another game that trade was better for me than DJ to ben askren for the UFC.😂 I still remember building houses out of diamond, emerald and gold , building parkour challenges, doing pvp and burn villages with my big brother , still has a city that has over 32 houses and that's 3 years old, i still play on it from time to time and i don't regret saying that a cubic game is my favorite game of all time.
