Minecraft: RLCraft - Ep. 2 - I AM SO INTO THIS 

Some tips for those playing: *Water is 90% death, dont swim or fish until you have to or have proper armor *Take anything you find and click on/make beds as fast as possible, even if you dont like the spawn. *You can always collect ur stuff if you die near a bed or way stone *Dont get attached, you will die many, many times at first. Dying is okay, you just have to be safer. *Most structures are dangerous, but some are 99%safe. (a hint, those tall, cone roofed towers with fences are safe) *Stairs leading down, especially in a house, mean dungeon. Block it up until you can take it on. *(Super Important) level up fast as possible! I suggest Mining and Farming/Gathering first, then Defense and Attack, then the rest. *The sooner you can make an Atlas, the better! *Cooking bottled water or buckets (I think) purify water! *Don't get withen 500 blocks of a dragon... trust me.... *Villages have so much loot! Check all the buildings. Also, they're safe becuase of the Aegis! *Halberd and Spear are great to start off (reach and damage) *Skeletons are hella dangerous (not only can they snipe you, but they tend to headshot,which instakills you!) *Make spares *Bows are your best friends! * Tumbleweeds in dessert can drop random items ranging from dead bush, sticks, strings, ingots and or Diamonds *Get a compass to see coordinates!

Other mods: Difficult because of the way their quest progression works This mod: “Here’s a highly-aggressive death orb! Go get ‘em, sport! And don’t forget to hydrate!”

He knows Geonach spawns from Ores, yet he mines so close to them... You can dig from 3-4 blocks away safely, and also Pickaxe deals more damage to Geonachs.

I love watching you two discover Lycanite's Mobs. It's amazing. Quick tip: Lycanite's mobs like the Cinder, Reaper, and Geonach (rock monster) are VERY situation-dependent. You're REALLY going to want to open and read the Lycanite's Beastiary GUI every time you run into a new thing, because it will give you fighting strategies and spawn conditions. Some of them only spawn from water, some only spawn in certain biomes, some spawn only at light level 0.... It's a whole thing. Seriously, read the Beastiary (AS THE GAME CHAT TELLS YOU TO DO) each time you find a new thing. It'll help you out a LOT.

Pro tip! A matchbook will light a stack of torches and you can combine torches with the matchbook in your 4x4 to prelight them!

You can get a purified water bucket by smelting a water bucket in a furnace. To drink it you have to place the purified water down and shift right-click to drink it.

You can do a few options to solve some of your thirst issues. If you carry a canteen around you won’t have to go to a water source as often. It only holds a few drinks though. When you drink from water sources it causes the Thirst effect which makes you get dehydrated faster. You can filter your water to prevent this. One way is to make charcoal filters, or you can also boil water in a furnace to get purified water. I usually use a canteen and the charcoal filters. I think there’s also a water collector you can make.

X33N dunno if this will help but the big orange dino is a passive mob and it's like a cow kill it for food, the rock mob takes extra damage from pick axes, the yale is the Mo' Creatures sheep kill it for wool. In the first episode I'm genuinely surprised that you guys stayed next to lava for so long without any fire mobs spawning besides this be more adventurous and don't be afraid to kill mobs at most one person dies and the other kills the mob. the mobs in the overworld are not always going to one or two shot you, so experience it all.

Even if you don't go out of your way to find the sand for it in the short term, you can use glass bottles to make a 'recycling' system with hoppers, and furnaces. :3 Charcoal filters can be little expensive in terms of effort spent to make them. Admittedly, paper itself is not so hard to get from those birch trees, and logs can be smelted into charcoal, but you would still have to mine enough trees to make the smelting/crafting worthwhile. Each piece of charcoal does have the benefit of being exponentially useful since each is capable of smelting 8 more logs than itself. Chopping the trees is a manual bottleneck in the process, though...

the horrible lag in ep1 was not the named mob below ground but probably the mass of fire burning down the forest behind the cave.

Hoping you play again as TRIO, and each master the specialization of Combat the frontliner tanker, Mining the melee or range damager, & Crafting the support from healing items.

Quick quality of life improvement. Craft matches with torches instead of lighting them one by one.

There is a one-click install via the Twitch app under the mods section, it won't mess with your base install because Twitch runs the game on modpack-specific directories. Anyone using the modpack will have to edit some things under the Java settings as well as manually install Optifine, but besides that, it's fine.

i just started playing RLcraft spawn right next to a waystone. then about a hour later i find a village so doing good. died quiet a few times to flying mobs since they like being out of range.

The cave is alive with the sound of murder.

Take a look at the search bar on the More Items Mod, and look at all the different swords and other weapons you would be able to make. All weapons have different properties that either debuff or buff the weapon and your abilities while using them. I believe it is the same with Armour. Also, I think you and Sparklez should go to a Battle tower (the sky scraper that has the big boss on top) where you can get bobbles, possiblity of rare items, and possibly plenty of FOOD

You can cook the water bucket in the furnace and then use glass bottles to take the purified water you place in a hole from the bucket. Charcoal + bottle of water will get you clean water. Also, just fyi - the backpack causes a crash. Tried it 4 different times and crashed every time. (Just in case you try to make one, beware!)

They are sleeping above a lvl5 dragon lol. Ashes means powerfull dragon

You can put unlit torches and matches in your crafting table to get lit matches i believe.

Other mod packs are hard because the quests are hard but RL craft is hard because you cant do anything without the game spawning something that wants to kill you. Im saying this because chopping trees, mining stone, even just looking at a flower will get yu killed with the mod.

Lycanites mobs that spawn from reg blocks (ore/trees) are weakest to the tool meant to harvest them (Pickaxe/axe) i am not sure about the ones that spawn form flowers they ?might be damaged most by a hoe? or an axe

Heya X33N, I can't seem to play the modpack and use Optifine at the same time because it will not work unless I'm using forge. How'd you get it to work with both? Also I can relate to screaming at everything that's scary lol

Note i use this pack every time I play mincraft and the spider webs don't look that cool
