How is the Cave Dweller?

So far, Sneve's been the ballsiest with this mod. Sean & co and Shadow all started at the surface and went down, but Sneve decided that's for schoolgirls and spawned in naked and unarmed in a pitchblack cave in world's dank and spider-infested basement. Absolute madlad.

Sean, Robert, and Kim: We must work together and trap the cave dweller in a boat in order to kill him. Shadow: I must get full diamond armor and tools and enchanted golden apples in order to kill the cave dweller. Sneve: All I need is an iron sword and wooden shield, baby

I think with this we can see that sneve, without even actively trying to be, is the absolute madlad out of any of the forgelabs survivalists

Yay! Go Sneve! "Bad at the game" but takes out a cave dweller easier than Sean, Robert, Kim or Shadow!!

Hear the normal jovial sneve blasting out quips left and right is fun, but scared and tense sneve is very interesting to see to break up things.

Making this scarier by spawning in the deepest pit of the cave with the warden along with a cave dweller is scary af.

I love this. Like everyone else said, you have the gutsiest approach, filled with chutzpah and moxie. Even when you die, you die like a gentleman! Screaming and fighting for your life with every fiber of your being! 😂

This is the second video I've seen about the Cave Dweller where its animations are broken and he just slides around all static-like except for the head, which still tracks you and everything. Given all the work the creator put into trying to make it so scary, even giving it a crouch mechanic and animation to follow you through tunnels its too fall to stand in, I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed. At least, at the time of this video anyway, not sure if its been sorted now or not.

Of all the forge labs creators, you are by far my favorite to watch. The comedy alone keeps me entertained for hours on end. Thank you for all that you put into these videos. You are truly one of my favorite youtubers on the platform. Keep em' coming, my good sir! XD

I've messed with this mod for a few days now, starting with the normal mod and then switching to the nightmare version. Everyone I watch sees it at least three times in a video, but it's only ever appeared three times across multiple days of playing. I'd go into a cave, hear all the noises and eventually ignore them because I never saw it's grin or heard its scream. It killed me once when I was trying to get diamonds, that is it.

My mans just took on a cave dweller with an iron sword and a shield, from being completely emptyhanded. Cheers!

Y'know, this just more or less feels like you played one of the old horror games with the requirements of spooky sounds, darkness, and a slightly scary monster, but adapted into minecraft and stuff.

This thing needs the ability to tear a player's shield away, that actually trivialized what's supposed to be a cave horror and spoilt the fear factor a good bit. Not complaining at you at all Sneve, just saying, I didn't expect it to just be roadblocked by a shield like most mobs.

I play with enhanced audio and ambience, from the fog herobrine mod, and the cave dweller mod all in one. Do not do this, I am beyond paranoid and my entire gameplay is revolving around avoiding the underground.

I'm thinking about all the things I would of tried doing this. 1) get a potato or carrot from a zombie. 2) maka composter and sheer the vines in the mine shaft to grow food. 3) use string to make a rod and find water to fish. 4) use fishing rod a a weapon to drop mobs from high up or to pull closer into range of the light. 5) make a grinding stone to disenchant books out of the mineshaft to make enchanting table
