Skill issue Paper mc introduced the stun "glitch" So it might still stay since A lot of pvp servers run in paper

stun never existed in vanilla minecraft; its was only available on paper and spigot servers up to 1.20.4. its a whole different feedback scheme there and might not be brought back

Stunning was a bug in paper that wasn't in vanilla. People in the axe pvp discord server loaded up a completely vanilla server, and the shield disabling at the start of the video was also present on that server (their version was 1.20.6)

@@user-hl5sz9ge1g my mouse is incapable of dc I have had a dc mouse in the past, but it broke beyond usability I am aware of how dc works but a razer mouse is a no go, I had no other options when looking at mouse replacements at that moment

@@selbendersiinge69 I mean yeah, but it's still kinda inconsistent without a lot of practice, and definitely a lot harder on high ping. When I had a dc mouse I was at least able to consistently get the two clicks required but didn't play enough shield in order to apply it there at the time, and since some higher tier players are agreeing with my stance, I'll just up and say I think the momentum break meta will just be a lot more fun for everyone. Stuns are just an extremely polarizing way to be able to shield break people, usually when you were in an option select you would choose to stun given it was an option at that moment, the only time you'd really choose something else is the health situation, and going back to the high ping argument, now that stuns are removed shielding is just gonna be a lot safer for them because the main thing that made shield feel unbalanced in ping differences was in fact 2.7 block to 3 block stuns. I think it's a positive patch that makes it so Shield is even closer to being that completely balanced game mode ping wise. Not to mention, now that this bug is removed, Vindicators won't auto stun you for more than half your health, which is definitely a 100% welcome change on the PvE side of things.
