Once he shows the he helped gerald create Shadow, and his biological father, his allegiance changes to black doom leaving Sonic.exe defenceless and destroys him or sends him to an alternate dimension from which theres no return. Eggman finds out his grandfather was involved with black doom and finds a recording of Gerald and Maria saying "Shadow, if you're see this, then I'm gone but Maria will protect and Show this recording when the time is right.
