Don't forget to watch the other two minecraft timelapses I've made! See this playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PL_pFOVtAsROet4PQVg3jMJesM4wFdy1F6 F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions): -How long did this take? 40 hours of recorded footage, but there is likely 10-20 hours more in AFK farming, another 10 in editing, 8 to render, and 12 to upload. So yeah, about 85 hours total :) I only spent 3 months on this one, mainly because I actually worked at it a little bit more than the previous one, lol. -What song was that? Did you read the music list?!?!?! -Was this all in survival? Yup. -What version of Minecraft was this? 1.8. -Will you make another one? Probably not, unfortunately. By the end of this one, I was really tired of playing the map and just going through the process in general. I won’t stop RU-vid all together, of course, but I likely won’t make Minecraft videos any more. It seems to just get more and more difficult. Also, I would assume that RU-vid is pretty well saturated with Minecraft videos. -How did you record this? Fraps was used to record the screen, and to play, I had a LAN world started with two accounts logged in from the same computer. See the next FAQ entry for more details. -How did you produce this video? I made a behind the scenes video here ->ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TpYJT8cFUZU.html -How much has this been sped up? Most of the time it’s 30-60 times faster than real time, but certain section (like the cobble stone generation) were sped up 240 times. -Where did you get all the cobble stone? Right at the start you can see I place some lava and water, and where they meet, it makes cobblestone. If you mine this stone, it comes back soon after. Do that for a few dozen hours and you’ll get a few dozen stacks. -Did you do any AFK farming? Oh yeah I did. I even made a script to mine cobblestone for me. Why would I waste my life holding down a mouse button and scrolling occasionally? I have better things to do! -How did you get all of the carpet/wool/bed? String from spiders in the spider farm can be used to make wool for carpet and beds. The dye was all from plants and squids. -How did you get hoppers/shears/iron? When the player kills a zombie, there is a small chance they will drop an iron ingot, and with all of the zombies killed in the EXP farm, that happened quite frequently. That was actually the primary purpose of that farm, because EXP has no purpose on this map. -Why did you upload in 4K 60fps? Because I can. -Why was 13:03 slightly blue tinted? I accidentally recorded with flux enabled, which turns my screen orange (like this prnt.sc/dpq4ta ) and I had to do massive amounts of color correction. -What's up with the music skip at 13:35? While getting things synced up, I accidentally trimmed the song in the middle and separated it a bit. If it didn't take 8 hours to render and 13 hours to upload, I would have fixed this, but it's so minor that it's not worth fixing. -My question wasn’t answered D:< !!! No need to be angry, that’s what the comment section is for. If you ask a question, I’m 90% likely to answer it if it hasn’t been answered already.
@@dirtyharry5096 well it's skyblock you only have a limited choice of materials. I found myself having to use cobblestone a lot as it's the most useful infinite resource.
When I do sky block I usually capture an monster an name it to keep me company eventually when I am able to fish a name tag out and make an anvil from killing anoigh zombies I actually name it
Thank you all so much for the fantastic engagement! 230K views and 7.6K likes in less than a week?! I never expected this, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Im gunna be honest it takes me 3 to 4 tries before I get something I like. And even then if I think of something better I'll destroy anything I had and rebuild. Some people are just that way. Its fun :D
I just realised that you could get full iron tools and armour in skyblock, from the rare chance of the zombie having iron armour or tools or dropping ingots
@@asmrforfun1736 I don't think that blaze spawns will happen, because all you are given is a small glowstone island and then the stuff at the nether ceiling.
Cyber RBY he’s lying about that obviously, this suggests he was online for 40 hours straight grinding this out and never stopping to think of an idea, plus building all of that even in creative would take hours
@@bartekjanik3690 Doesn't matter how long he spent, if doesn't look good. Anyone can build big stuff, the challenge is making it look good. To call it art? Cmon.
Everytime i was about to go to vacation i always watched your that video it still lives in my heart. It has some specialness for me especially for my childhood it's so attractive and affected me from deep. Thanks for those rare memories you've owned in my mind :)
NSITF MCPE well there is no dirt.. So the world was not created this way lol.. But I see your point and you are probably thinking "this guys is being too serious" oh well.. Just sayin
me: watch skyblock timelapse. me: get inspired and start a skyblock server. me: use cheats after 5 min. me: call it a day after 1 hour. me: forget about the hole thing the very next day. me: watch another skyblock timelapse. me: get inspired. And the sequence starts again.
Video: Exists for years PewDiePie: I shall make a SkyBlock series Video Comments: PewDiePie... PewDiePie.... PewDiePie..... Lol, the influence he has on RU-vid is insane.
Not necessarily just his influence but a small part of it is the algorithm recommending skyblock to those who are pewdiepie fans because of him playing it
It just saddens me a little to think of someone stuck on an island in a void, trying their damndest to make the best out of their miserable, lonely existence. Edit: I meant the fictional universe that Steve lives in in this situtation. Calm down everyone.
@@devilvocano420 this was legit a dude playing minecraft alone for collective weeks of ingame time, and all he had in it was what he could create. It is as lonely as one can get.
If you want your comment to be true, play modded skyblocks. Skyfactory 1-2-2.5-3-4, modern skyblock 1-2-3-classic, project ozone 1-2-3 (kappa mode or it's not funny), awakening skyblock, enigma 2 skyblock, sky odyssey, sky adventure, etc (those are all the ones I played, but I only completely finished 3-4 of them. Most of them have over 800 quests.) In all of these packs you start with a block of dirt and a tree (unless you play garden of glass)
All memes from all over the world are nervously smoking not far... Uhhh how should this meme be spelled? I haven't heard this meme on English, only Russian (my native language)... Help me, please...
This reminds me of hundreds of hours spent playing this game with the best friend I ever had, but sadly we're not in contact any more. Fantastic game, great memories!
Man, I remember watching this when I was still in elementary school, and now here I am a sophomore in high school! I miss the older days of Minecraft, while the new features are really cool and innovative, you can't deny how nice and simple the game used to be
I started playing minecraft in around 2010-2011 and its amazing to go back to old videos like this. For some reason this one really stuck with me i am 15 now almost turing 16 and when i wad younger i wanted to grow up so bad and now i look back and what I wouldn’t do for a single day back then just to relive it. I realize now that was the only time in life where it is ever gunna be that way and that im never gunna experience something the same. You can try to recreate it but its just not the same for anyone really really young seeing this comment please just enjoy the times you have.
I was so relaxed and filled with nostalgia hat it felt as if I had been watching for hours. I checked and it had only been 8 minutes. Thank you for this masterpiece of a video.
Love Laugh Maybe they put it because sometimes when someone finishes a series of any kind, it can be sad and, i personally believe that finishing a world in minecraft is a really great experience because you can look back at everything you’ve done. So, no need to be so sarcastic and condescending :)
@@t-builds9410 Huh, apparently so. ... Though you can only purchase them from wandering traders, and you'll need a silk touch pickax to convert it into usable dirt; I guess they can to renewable. ... Still a pain to obtain, though.
I'm in the same boat as Vsauce, lol. I'll make a new video eventually, but other things in my life take priority over this hobby. Either way, the chances of my next video being about Minecraft are essentially 0%.
This is the only timelapse video i ever watch until the end. Say whatever you want but Minecraft is an awesome game!! Thanks for this master piece of construction!! Keep up with the good job!
After this video, I want to want to play minecraft again. Nope, no typo. I had great time playing minecraft. I had many emotions with it, an important part of my life as well during the time I was playing minecraft. That feeling I had when I was playing MineCraft for the first time with the cracked launcher. Then a friend told me I can update it and don't have to play the alpha version... Building on my first map for weeks and months. During the whole beta version I was playing on one or two maps. It was also one of the first game I thought was worth paying for. And I would love to reexperience that feeling I had when I first played it. Thank you Markus Persson for that time, fun and letting me discover my own worlds, letting my inspiration and creativity free. You really did something special there...
@Jerry Springler yeah i was just informing people. no hate or anything to you or the guy who said some thing about the witches i am not defending him🙂🙂🙂
