Depends on which one is closer to the villager.

Should work on both asking as you buy it from the villager.

Today I tried it with the water temple and I didn't get the achievement. I think it has to be a mansion

@@kizkur you have to have the map in your hand when you walk in. So if you still have it, go back with it in your hand or off hand. It worked for me

you also might have to change your game mode to hard that’s how my achievements work

Can you please help me I am having the same problem I go in with the map in my hand difficulty hard through the main entrance and I even purchased the map multiple times from different cartographer villagers and I still don’t get the achievement

Nether run it makes it half that. Take your mansion map in the nether and the tools to build a new portal and run it out in there. Once you see your self on the map start uncovering color build the portal and then go that way. Way faster. Thanks for stopping by hope you hit that sub button trying for 1000 subs.

Hmmm did you find it randomly or was it a map you bought of a villager.

PerfectTarget07 I bought it from a villager and I went offline because I was getting frustrated, then I went back on later and went out and in the mansion again and got the achievement

Dont work for me 4 different servers and still keep walking and walking 4ours its like easyr on other console i think like the mansion spawn on ps4 wauw its shit but nice video!🤪

I didn't unlock this trophy until I looked at the map inside the house.

Yes you have to look at the map inside the mansion I forgot that part in the video but the comments have been letting me know.

I have had several people tell me they had this same problem. I have also reported it as a bug to hopefully get fixed before 1.17 release.

@@PerfectTarget07 very odd, it doesn’t look like my butcher who’s shirt or whatever is brown. Villagers are such a pain, idk why they can’t make things simple. My librarian’s first book is usually infinity I, can’t change it.

Well since one of my other viewers told me that once someone buys and explores the location it doesn’t work for others.

@@PerfectTarget07 yeah think I have to do the pressure plate thing... not sure how to get access to max lvl trades doing that but I’ll eventually try to figure that out. Lots of chests and trade material/emeralds I guess. Thanks, and sorry for the trouble.

@@vigminitaur5359 no problem make sure to also try and do the zombie conversion as well while on hard mode.

If you go there already before getting the map from the trader it wont work.

According to several of the viewers it could cause it to not work.

zabberless use the nether to make the trip shorter

No you just need to be holding the map in your hand when you walk in the front door of the temple

That does sound weird actually that is what I did and it worked fine.

There is a possibility that it does not work I have had mix of comments telling me it did work or didn’t work with ones they’ve already visited

I know the feeling mate I had to fly -14500 75 9700 to find one enchanted apple.

Sneaky trick take the map into the nether and fly around in there till you start seeing your self on the map and make a portal to the over world and bam Half the Distance traveled

Yeah making nether highways from major point in your world is a amazing way to travel to and from places like the end portal or underwater monuments. My worlds end portal is less then 100 blocks from my base because of a nether highway system.
