Minecraft New Create mod 0.5 Steam Power Plant makes 1.2 million - 1.3 Million "su" Stress Units. The steam power plant is small, lag friendly, and could use multiple different types of fuel. works on 1.18.2 minecraft. This is the best steam power source for the New create mod 0.5 and you could make it even bigger. this create mod 0.5 is the easiest and greatest power source because the steam engine never turns off. make sure to subscribe to the k1inc channel and be apart of the K1inc family.

Did this one and got it working first try! Great tutorial! I will say for those who may notice not all the blaze burners are getting fuel, in each corner, set one of the two brass funnels next to each other to 32 instead of the default x, which takes out a stack from the chest. That should get the other funnel to take fuel from the chest to fuel up the remaining blaze burners.

This thing is modular. You can make it even bigger for even more power, or you can make it smaller if you don't need this much. I don't want to use all the space and resources for this whole thing, so I built it in creative with 4 tanks (this video has 20 tanks) and it's still producing 256,768su. I don't imagine I'll need more than that but if I do, expanding the number of tanks in the machine will be really easy.

Works with lava buckets with some modifications. Need to set item filter on deployers to lava bucket, chutes underneath to collect empty buckets. Also need to use brass tunnels (forced round robin) instead of chests on the feed in side of the double belts (with belt extensions). Pumping lava into buckets from 128 cauldrons it runs forever.

In stoneblock 3 I modified this to use your lava idea but with Lava Chicken eggs, but I am still tweaking it because I can't get more than 650K SU out of it. EDIT: I got to 1.3M SU. Turns out my engines were only running at half capacity until I doubled the number of pumps pushing water into them. 80 blaze burners are kept at full lava by a single 10/10/10 lava chicken -> deployer -> item drain -> pump.

if you have the create addon that adds straws[which allow the burners to use liquid fuels], you can simply pump lava from an infinite lava system into each burner, negating the *entire* belt, deployer, chest etc nonsense, and can simply have the water pumping in wherever you wish! Currently using a similar setup in a nether world modpack[cryptopolis], and since there's enough lava for it to be infinite, it works *forever*

@pabpas8821
@pabpas8821 Год назад
in 1.18.2 you can set up a lava farm by using the dripstone cauldron mechanic, every cauldron fills up in ~24 minutes so with a 6 by 10 set up you get 2 buckets per minute more than enough for any set up, specially knowing that lava buckets take 950 seconds to need refuel
@NobodyEvenReadsNames
@NobodyEvenReadsNames Год назад
@@pabpas8821 This is true and can work, but pumping the nether is actually a lot easier than it sounds. In the nether all you really need is a hose pulley + pump that pulls infinite lava, a spout to fill buckets, a belt to throw the buckets through a portal, and another belt that takes empty buckets out of the portal and takes them back to the spout. In the overworld you just need a belt to catch lava buckets, a drain + pump to get your lava into a tank, and a belt to carry the empty buckets back to the portal. Keep everything in one chunk so that buckets going through the whole portal keep things chunk loaded and you're done. The nice thing is it can be really compact and doesn't need too much rotational power to give you a TON of lava. Way more consistent and fast than a cauldron dripstone setup while being a lot smaller and cheaper to make.
@nikolajolanderrasmussen9128
@@NobodyEvenReadsNames That is indeed a good way of doing it. However I use a train going through a portal and being filled up by a station in the nether. It may not be the easiest way to make it work. But I think it is a bit cooler.
@NobodyEvenReadsNames

@@nikolajolanderrasmussen9128 I haven't updated to 0.5 yet sadly, how do trains work with chunk loading? The bucket system works because the bucket entities keep the other side loaded constantly. That many deployers is pretty inefficient, I believe you could supply all of the burners with either 2 or 4 mechanical arms, which granted does require precision mechanisms but your design already needs that for a rotational speed controller
@K1Inc
@K1Inc Год назад
No I have to disagree the Deployers are very efficient, the problem with mechanical arms is there ability to supply the fuel fast enough before the blaze burners turn off. So you end up getting a massive dip in power when the blaze burners run out of fuel which will cause the system to stall out, but with the deployers there is no lose in power even when the blazer burners run out because there's a consistent flow of fuel. So you will never experience any dip or lose in power.

And then have the Mechanical Arm pick the full Bucket up again. The Arm can reach through the first Blaze Burners, and since they won't all go out at the same time, you don't need one Arm for each Burner, but rather 1 for 4 or even 1 for 8, if you make the setup fast enough (will cost SU of course). The resulting setup won't be as small as this one, but it will be fully self sufficient. And you can get infinite Lava, if you hook the Lava Tank up to a big enough Lava lake, which won't be hard to find with the caves & cliffs update. Or have a train run from the Nether to this Setup to get it fueled with infinite Lava. I assume if you need this much SU you'll be advanced enough to be able to put up a train ^^

The reason this happens is because the funnels only output to a single half of the double chest, leaving the bottom half of a chest stalling. To fix this, you would need 4 brass tunnels (tunnels NOT funnels), 2 together on each dual belt right after the brass funnels that output wood/coal FROM a double chest, and make sure the tunnels are both set to synchronize inputs (scroll down all the way on the top interactable square of the tunnels with a wrench). That way it will force each belt to have an even amount of wood/coal at all times, which makes sure it does not clog up. I wish K1 features this fix because I see the same problem in their build in the video as well near the end. Hope this helps!

Sure this works and all but its not very efficient. For the amount of resources used its a bad setup. I made a better setup with 2 3x3x3 steam engines that is self powered with auto refilling lava buckets, each one giving 16 minutes of burn time which is more than enough time to refill the lava tank from the lava generator using lava sources and dripstones into cauldrons.

I've had this thing running for several days fueled by a tree farm with no problems. At it's peak, it was generating over 900K SUs (I never could get all the blaze burners to light up all at once). I hooked the first big contraption up to it today and it too was working fine and was only taking 4% of the capacity. I was working on something else in the area for several hours (the contraption was loaded) and I go to check on it and it's stopped. Tree farm is still sending it fuel yet it just stopped. I tried the start up procedure that was shown at the end of the video but it won't start back up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to restart the steam engines?
@chrisbeasley5018
@chrisbeasley5018 Год назад
I got it going again. I did the exact wrong thing when trying to fix this because I changed two things at once so I don't know which of these actually fixed the problem. I previously was using a dirt block to replace the cog when I was trying to restart. I changed to a glass block like was shown in the video. Also, I cheated in a creative motor (sorry, I was desperate) and used that instead of a hand crank thinking the hand crank was not producing enough RPMs. Voila! Fired back up. Also I figured out what made it stop. While I was close enough for the steam engine contraption to be loaded, I was not close enough for trees in the tree farm that fuels it to grow. So it simply ran out of fuel. I love and hate this game so much some times.
