Could you maybe make a video on how to install this? i found the resourcepack. but on Minecraft bedrock 1.20 its not running. i didn't found a way beside bedrocklauncher to switch to 19.2, but that's not working either. Would be awesome.

I mean, it's still technically hydrogen, just an isotope called deuterium They are pretty much the same chemically, deuterium is just a bit heavier

@@bright2142 if I understand correctly, elements in this mod only have different atomic numbers, not mass, so we don't know if it's hydrogen or deuterium, moreso, he only used two hydrogen to get helium, which implies that it's either a really weird isotope of helium, or the hydrogen he used was actually deuterium.

@@scaleofperspective6211 Which means the only error is it costing a neutron, we clearly do make deuterium and that works for the crafting of helium

Ok. Slight correction after a bit of research. Assume all I say here is if I'm understanding this correctly, so take it with a grain of salt and research it yourself if you'd like. Isotopes are variations on an atom. Iirc from highschool chemistry, the number of protons dictate which element it is, the number of neutrons dictate the mass of the atom and which isotope of that element it is, and the number of electrons... changes all the time as they are shared with other nuclei, can be interacted with using photons (i think, since we have solar panels), and dictate the charge of the atom and molecule. Deuterium is simply a name for the hydrogen atom with a neutron and an approximate mass of 2 amu (atomic mass units). This hydrogen isotope is otherwise called Hydrogen-2, or ²H. The Isotope we see the most is Hydrogen-1, ¹H, or Protium. It has a mass of about 1amu since it only has a proton in the nucleus, no neutrons. There are more Isotopes with more neutrons, and they're radioactive. Tritium (³H) is an example, and it decays into Helium-3.

I was literally thinking about that when I saw the atom get crafted. Like, 1 electron, 1 proton, and then also a neutron? That's not hydrogen.
